The Ghost Hunters

chapter 3

   As we near my house he shuts the windows. We pull into the driveway to find my mom not home yet like always as we get out he graves my arm " now don't be worried if police show up they will only ask questions about why you were there." He looks serious for several seconds before letting go and smiling and waving me off. As we walk to the door I look back to him looking different a lot paler. He smiles and instantly turns normal and backs out of the driveway. We walk straight upstairs and sit on my bed wondering what we just wittenessed." We have to go." She looks at me confused" why what if we die?"" I know but we could save more people from this." She nodds." Lets gather are stuff and tell brody were we be." She picks up her phone. Brody is a high tec genius so we get in a bind he's there to help. I opdn the attic and pull out the bags.

We walk down the stairs I just don't wanna be forgotten or remebered for being stupid so I wanna do something amazing. I normal don't care about shit unless it includes my friends or family. I kinda don't want McClain to come so she dosent freak out and have a panic attack she normal has one but this time were not telling about this shit.  As we walk a mile to jezzalyns we hide in the usual bushes waiting for the bus knowing this might be are last time seeing it. The bus pulls up and the doors open to mcclain and the other foster kids. Mcclain see us and runs to the door. And come out with two pretty full backpacks. She comes running up " what happened what was the code red called for why weren't on the bus?" We just start walking trying not to remeber what happened in the principals office.

As we walk down an abandon road nobody uses anymore. After a hour of walking we make it to elkim street. We walk down that till we find a huge black gate that circles around pretty far so we push it. It slowly creaks open with a lot of effort.  As we walk up the driveway we expect to see a shack home instead we find a huge house three story buliding with a huge shed next to it the yard looked pefectly cut like someone lives there but no lights were on. As we walk up to the door we open it to a kitchen its the average kitchen but with way more expansive things like 30 thousand dollar stove and fridge.

We look at everthing in confussion. We look and find a chair on the floor in the exact same place as in the picture. Mcclain graves on to my shoulder scratching my arm with her long nails. As we walk up a flight of stairs we find tons of empty bedrooms execpt one with a huge king sized bed. As we throw are stuff on the bed we walk out.

And find another stair case we push open a trap door door to find this beutiful room completely surronded by glass . It was beautiful the view was amazing looking at the setting sun in the distance.

We have to leave because mcclain has to pee so we find a bathroom which dosent even look used. When she finishes we walk back to the main floor and turn to find a another stair case to the basement. I walk down first. As I reach the last stair I hear a groan I turn to jezzalyn and McClain they look terrified as i point the flashlight into the black abyss. I hear the grunt again coming from behind me I turn to see a beutiful german shepherd nuzzle my arm. I hear a screech from mcclain she and jezzalyn are pointing behind the dog I look and see the exacte same shepherd dead. It was covered by blood , maggots and flys. I feel my stomache turn inside me looking back at the other shepherd it has baby blue eyes with the exact markings of a shepherd. As I slowly walk back farther in mcclain and jezzalyn follow closely behind. We keep walking till I run into something to find a pair of legs.I look farther up and find there attached to a body. All of a sudden I hear tump tump of the stairs to see mcclain and jezzalyn running up the stairs. As I turn back to the corpse I notice its a girl and she's about 14years old and has blonde hair she was dead pretty long because her skin is turning black as I was about to run I felt a hand on my shoulder I dropped the flashlight.
