Power Rangers Level Up!

Level 1 : The Morphing Players!

Two Years Ago

In the middle of the night, in a nice suburbian area, a scream could be heard.  The scream sounded like the person doing it was in a high amount of pain, as they seemed to be angry aswell whilst screaming.  

An orange figure was thrown into the road suddenly, followed by a black figure.  The two stood, one aiming a gun and the other drawing a blade.  A cyclops-like monster, human-sized and humanoid, walked onto the road after them, holding an axe.

" Jet and Slash Rangers...just quit already. " The monster mocked, the two rangers charging forward.  The monster readied it's axe, slashing the black ranger, shattering his blades.  The orange ranger rolled, trying to blast the monster.  The monster grabbed the hand and the gun, crushing the hand and the gun, kicking the ranger away.  

A girl with red hair turned the corner, wearing a red jacket with a fist on it.  As she saw the two rangers, she tried to run forward, taking out a red controller. 

" Adam! Peter! " The girl, Amber, called out as the cyclops raised the axe, which began to shine.  The monster brought the axe down on the two, causing them to explode.  The girl continued to run as the monster turned, seeing her and vanishing while laughing.

She ran to a teen boy in an orange jacket, a teen in a black jacket not too far away.  " Adam...we told you to wait! " Amber cried, shaking the orange jacketed teen, Adam.  Adam tried to speak, but no words came from his mouth as he handed Amber his orange controller.  Amber took it, noticing something skidding over to her.  

She grabbed it, seeing that it was the black controller.  She looked over, seeing Peter lying on his back, limp.  She looked back at Adam, seeing that he was no longer blinking.  She gripped the two controllers, fighting back tears before crying, standing.  

Present

Two teens entered a GameStop, looking around inside.  One was pale, skinny and had glasses, wearing an orange polo shirt and jeans.  The other was slightly muscular, tanned and wore a black jacket with sweatpants.  

A teen in green stood behind the counter, wearing goggles.  He looked fit, and when the two entered, he waved them over to the desk.  When they walked over, the teen spread his arms and looked around.

" Welcome to the Trenton Town GameStop! Any game you want, we have! " The teen exclaimed, a girl in yellow poking her head out of the back.  She made a shush symbol, the teen  nodding slowly and quietly. " Sorry, Dani... " The teen said as the girl slinked back into the storage room.

" We're just here to look.  We're not into playing games that much anymore. " The teen in orange said, the worker nodding as the two teens dispersed, looking around.  As they did, Amber left the back room and walked to the teen behind the counter.

" So, Will.  Has Otto found anyone to replace Peter and Adam yet? " Amber asked, Will turning to her and sighing. " We asked him two years ago!  He probably forgot to look, or he can't find anyone.  We're fine as a trio anyways. " William argued quietly.  Amber sighed, looking at the two wandering the store. " Atleast we get to protect people like them.  So blissful.  So innocent.  So - " Amber said, but she was cut off as the glass of the store was suddenly shattered.
