Chapter 5

"MYSTERY!" You shouted as you ran around town. "Where are you..?!" You called. It took you hours before you could find him. You heard sobbing from behind a wall. You turned the corner to the wall and saw mystery crying. "Mystery.." you said kneeling by him. "Go away (Y/N).." he muttered. "Listen to me.." you commanded. He slowly raised his head and looked at you with his puffy, tearstained eyes.
        "Mystery, it wasn't your fault. I got in the way and you accidentally Stabbed my arm. But look, I'm okay!" You reassured him. He sniffed. He then hugged you tightly. "(Y/N)... I'm so sorry.." he apologized. "Its okay, Mystery, it really is.." you told him. He cried into your shoulder. "I never wanted to hurt you.." Mystery told you. He had never been so sincere.
        He then put his hand on your cheek. He stared into your beautiful (E/C) eyes. "(Y/N).." He  muttered. "Y-yes..?" You felt your cheeks heat up.  "I need you.." he said. "W-what do you mean..?" You stuttered. "I-i....i-i.... I LOVE YOU (Y/N)!!" He shouted. Your eyes widened, feeling a mix of emotions. You looked to see Alfred with Kao behind him, standing in the entrance of the alley.
     "A-alfred.." You mumbled. Alfred's eyes filled with tears, and starts falling almost immediately. "S-so.. you do love him." He muttered. "Oh~ Why so sad, Alfred?~" Mystery let go of you and stood up. Alfred's face turned red, he looked angry and flustered at the same time. He stayed silent. Tears falling from his face to the ground.
      "Well?~" Mystery asked. Alfred mumbled something, too quiet for anyone to hear. "Say again~" Mystery said. "I said... I LOVE (Y/N)!" He shouted. Mystery smirked. He then grabbed your arm, making you yelp. He didn't even remember you had a stab wound still.. "MYSTERY! YOUR HURTING HER!" Kao suddenly shouted. You looked at Kao, he quickly noticed the fear in your eyes. Mystery forcefully grabbed your chin and forced you to look at him.
"Who will you choose?"
     His words echoed the alleyway. You loved them both... how could you possibly choose? You had to think long and hard.. Mystery was a rough amd flirtatious person, yet he can be sweet when he wants to be.. And Alfred is a normally qiuet and shy, yet he is still really sweet. Your eyes glided from Mystery to Alfred.
      You felt someone grab you from behind and pull you away from Mystery. You yelped in surprise. You were then picked up bridal style and the person took you out of the Alleyway. You looked at your 'kidnapper' and noticed it was Kao. "Kao..? What a-are you doing..?" You asked. "I could tell you were scared.. I had to get you away from the situation." He said with a smile
      He ran all the way back to his house. He opened the door, went in, and quickly locked it behind him. He set you down on the couch and ran around, locking all the windows. Eventually he finished and sat next to you. "I'm sorry that had to happen.." Kao apoligized. "Its okay." You smiled. Then you looked at your wound, which was bleeding a bit.
     "Oh! One second, I'll go grab some bandages." Kao said, before running off to the bathroom. You heard him rummaging through everything, then he came running out of the bathroom. He was holding bandages and such. He sat next to you, and gently grabbed your arm. He dabbed some medicine on it, then wrapped it in a bandage. "Its probably not as good as when Alfred did it, but its better than bleeding!" He said, with a sweet smile.
     "Thanks Kao." You thanked him. "No problem, (Y/N)." He smiled. "But.. I guess you were right.." you trailed off. "About what?" He asked. "About them both liking me." You replied, fidgeting with your hands. "Oh.. heh.. yeah." He rubbed the back of his neck. "So.. who are you going to choose?" He asked. "Im... not sure.."
