After a major flood in 1997 several parts of the hospital had to be rebuilt including the cancer center, physical therapy center, and the psyciatric ward. Stories of hauntings began soon after they were rebuilt.
Several staff members recall seeing a shadowy figure in the staff elevators when the elevators are not in use. In the psyciatric ward, a locked ward, the alarms are triggered frequently throughout the night, apparently set off by the shadow people who slide under the door and reappear on the other side.
In the physical therapy pool, patients often complain someone is grabbing them, though no one is. Wet foot prints are also seen leaving the pool into the women's locker room. At night security cameras catch splashing in the pool and wet foot prints leading away. Sometimes, in the morning, wet towels are found in the locker room.
