Mark went to work that day in a mind twists, he couldn't think straight. He walked into the workplace like a zombie, everyone was walking past him and looking at him, his hair was a mess, and he didn't shower that much, he just sat in the water. When he got to his desk, he got working right away and ignore everyone else that was around him. Jeff approached Mark's desk, "Hey bro, you don't look so good, did that night at the strip club get to you, huh?" "Yeah, maybe half of it," "Whats wrong, buddy?" "I've been thinking about about Sasha and Eba, they were blowing up my phone that night we went to my house and we were drunk as hell," "Oh yeah, they did, kinda get mad at you. Mark was confused, "Wait, you remembered what happened that night?" "Yeah, kinda, except when I went to sleep," "So, you knew they were blowing up my phone all night," "Yeah, but you were too drunk to notice it."Mark wanted to know why Jeff didn't tell him about the notifications he got, but he left it alone. Mark continues to work and Jeff is watching him, "So, how's your wife and everything?" "Eh, we're still the same, we still have our problems and every time some someone tried to make things better, they seem to be getting worse," "That doesn't sound cool at all," "No, it doesn't. So we.. I mean me, I don't know what to do with it, it just seems to be getting worse," "Well have you ever-," Mark stopped talking to Jeff for a minute, he say Sasha walk past his desk without saying a word to him, but she did speak to Jeff. Mark couldn't believe his eyes, he didn't believe that she just didn't say anything or not even looking at him, Jeff looks at him with a surprised look on his face, "Damn, what's going on with you two?" "I'm not sure man, she's not talking to me for some reason and I want to know why," "Well it's only right for you to know." Mark gets up from his desk, "I'll talk to you later," "alright man, handle your business." He walks past all of the other desks, following her and watching her walk further and further away from him, she finally stops at her desk and he watches as she sits down.
Mark was suddenly afraid to go up to her and talk to her, he could tell from the text messages over the weekend that she was very hot headed and steamy, that's something that he never knew about her. He goes up to her desk and she's typing on her computer, she didn't even look up to see who it was because she already knew who it was. "What do you want?" "I just want to talk to you," "Oh, you were going to talk to me when you saw me walk past your desk, even if i didn't you weren't going to talk to me," "Yes i was, I was going to talk to you today if you didn't mind," "Sure you were," "No really, I was, I was going to as soon as i saw you and this is my first time seeing you today, so..." Sasha didn't even want to look at him, he was starting to think why would he ever do such a thing to a girl like Sasha, but it looks like she's already done with him, that's something that he didn't want to happen.
Mark calmly walks back to his desk and sat down in his chair, he didn't know what to do because this was kind of the first girl that he's been with for-real. He was currently thinking about Sasha and the way she's acting towards him, he knows what he did to change that, but he would never be able to fix it, well, it looks like to him. Mark sat at his desk and thought about what to do with Sasha, but then he started to think about Eba. Eba never contacted him after that night, not even the day after he created that scene at the Cafè.
At lunch time, Jeff and Mark went out to eat like they always do. Mark didn't say much to Jeff because his mind was racing with things that he needed to do to fix this.
When Jeff got home, his mind would not shut down, he has a little bit to drink to slow it down and those little sips still wouldn't work. He was sitting in his living room thinking about the disaster he's caused, he has t even heard from Eba. She hasn't even came over to check on him like she was suppose to. Now he's worried, more worried than before, he kept drinking.
When the liquor actually hit him he wondered about Eva a lot more than Sasha. He wondered why was she so upset, he wondered why she hasn't came over, he wondered why she n vet called him after that night. This man was so confused about his life and what was going on with it he didn't know what to do. He almost felt crazy because he wanted to drive right over to Eba and tell her the truth, and ask questions of why she was mad, just to talk to her. Mark felt like he, actually cared for, he's never had a real woman anyway, so it was surprising.Mark grabbed his keys and got in his car, even though he was a little drunk, it still didn't stop him. He was looking on the streets of the city, homeless people, couples, what's worse, him seeing couples when he doesn't have anyone or seeing poor people with nothing. Sitting at a red light, Mark felt tears coming up in his eyes, but his brain was telling him no. One tear came down on his face and he realized it was for Eba, maybe it was the liquor or maybe this is how he really feels.
Four minutes away, he's getting closer and closer to the answers that he needs and hopefully an brand new real relationship with someone that is interested in him, as far as he knows. And there he was, sitting in front of her house, he couldn't do anything but look at the front door he was going to go through. He's scared, nervous, anxiety was flooding his mind and body. He gets out of the car, and walks up the steps.
