The Lonely Soul

Chapter 1: Victoria...

-2014 USA, New York city, New York 11:59p.m.-

In a breezy night, the full moon lit the dark sky. A shadowy figure glided across the nightly sky as the gentle breeze carried the figure to a nearby oak tree and landed on a branch. The lighting from the nearby street lights reaveals a young man whose skin look as white as snow. His hair, which is the shade of white as his sking, is draped at his shoulder with a bang covering his right eye. He is wearing a black shirt with a band logo called 'Black veil brides' on the front, and his pants are black with a silver chain straped at his waist. On his left wrist was a bracelet with inck long spikes around it, and his right wrist was a tattoo of a fox with a black pelt.

The young man look around the area sensing a presence moving towards him. A man, who apprears to be drunk, was stumbling down the path and tripped over his own feet. The young man chuckled to himself in amusement as a thought went through his mind 'Dinner'. The young man pounced his chosen prey and pinned the elder male to the ground, then he pulled his neck over showing the young man the rich, blood filled vein in his neck. Excitement pulsed through him as he felt the older man's blood flowing through his body. He open his mouth revealing his razor sharp fangs and bit into the man's next drinking the crimson liquid with gusto. The young man stood up satisfied with his meal and to himself feeling his sense going high and a mischievous smile on his face,'Hmm....this new age is going to be very interesting...time for Vladimir Blood, the Vampire King, to return'.

Vladimir walk the path feeling content and excited with the era of time he awoke to. The music, the cultures, the entertainment and...the blood. These new things are wonderful for him as he explores the world's wonders. The music is what amazes him the most which was rock and heavy metal songs. The genres were a wonderful experience for Vladimir. The sound of the sogs made him felt..alive. The years passed have made him feel excited and intrigued in how the world was advancing since the time period he was offered his new life. Vladimir heard the sound of music playing at a distance as he walk toward a cementary. It was a familiar place that he has called home.

Vladimir stared at his old home, a three story mansion that is build in the center of the Blood cementary. The sound that attracted him was the sound of his favorite kind of music. He entered his old home and followed the music until he stumbled upon a group of humans, who dressed in a fashion that was called Goth from his meaning of the word, playing in the ballroom. There was four teenagers that are in the middle of a song called "Wolf in sheep's clothing by Set it off". A young boy, who plays lead guitar, is 5'10 and has brown hair with blue dye in lines in some areas. He is wearing a plain black shirt and pants with a leather jacket on. He has a wrist band of Jack the skeleton and have on black converses. The boy next to him has bleached white hair and he is wearing a muscle shirt and dark grey skinny jeans with grey DC comics converses. This young man seems to be the bass player of the group. The one at the drums is a girl, who has crimson colored hair. She is wearing a dark orange shirt with a evil smiling pumpkin on it with black pants that arr torn ar the knee and black leather boots. The next to her is described as  a way that can make Vladimir's heart stop if he had one. She is sitting on a black drum case enjoying the song. The girl has jet black hair and is wearing a batman T-shirt with a dark grey skirt torn at the knees with black leggings underneath. She seems to have on black lipstick and black converse.

As they approach near the end od the song Vladimir interrupted singing, "So tell how you sleeping easy, how are you thinking of yourself.. Show me how  you justify telling your lies like second nature... Mark my words one day.. You will pay.. You will pay. Karma will come collect your debt.. Karma will come collect your deeebt.. Karma will come collect your debt". The group of teens look at the vampire in surprise at his sudden entrance. The brown haired boy spoke after a few seconds of silence, "Who are you and what are you doing here?" Vladimir responded, "Oh I'm sorry for interrupting. My name is Vladimir Blood or Vlad if you want. I used to live here since this was my family's old estate and I came to see it". "Oh okay. Sorry if I was rude man I'm Drake", he replied and pointed to the white haired boy "This is Dante my little brother" then he gesture to the two girl "The redhead is Phoenix but we call her Nix and the girl next to her is Victoria". Dante and Phoenix nodded nonchalant while Victoria smiled at Vlad which caused him for the first time jn centuries to blush. Vladimir looked away vonfise and thought to himself, 'Why am I feeling like this? What is this feeling?'. He looks back at Drake and ask in a playful tone, "So how come you guys are playing here?". "We wanted a place to play music since our folks don't like us playing at the house", Dante answered in a monotone voice like he was trying to hide his frustration at his parents or was it one of the girls'. Vlad nodded at Dante's response ans turn to leave before saying, "Well have fun...and we should play together sometimes. I would like to sing with you guys sometime". As he left the house, he felt a tug in his mind as if something from his old, forgotten life was trying to come to the surface.
