Alaska's POV:

There stood a tall beautiful woman, with black hair running down to her waist. I stared deep into her forest green eyes. That was until she spoke and I lowered to hide my tears.

"When you die, you live. Your body dies but your spirit lives, it thrives. Let my power give you yet a new goal in life as I secure your mighty earth body and give you something that you renew your life with."

I was dead.

Here was the Queen of Death giving me something to start with, taking me away from my parents. Away from the hospitals and sympathetic nurses.

I felt a wrenching pain in my body as The Queen waved her hands.

"Everything but the eyes, those a strong beautiful eyes."

My eyes slowly closed as I struggled to stay in her presence. I knew who she was, somehow it had just dawned on me.

I woke up with a searing burning pain engulfing me, like invisible flames licking my body as I lay down on a cold hard floor.

My ice blue eyes connected with her green eyes but in their reflection I saw something different. Something that wasn't me.

The woman, the Queen seemed to know why my eyes had widened in horror and so the grey room transformed. Mirrors along every wall as I stared at the girl that was me.

There was a girl with the same blue eyes but now the once brunette had turned blonde. Her tanned skin had transformed into a pale complexion with the slightest tinge of evidence that it had seen the sun.

I was pretty.

That was new after been the ugly, hospitalized brunette.

"My daughter, you are destined for great things and that it why I will place you where you have never been."

My heart constricted painfully. My family had been quite rich and powerful, with my mother coming from a wealthy family and my father owning a company. So I came as a shock, also being born weak and frail made it harder to uphold my family name as elegant yet dangerous.

Nevertheless they loved me with their hearts, that was until the Queen of Death decided to pay a visit and take me on a never ending trip.

Since I have been dead, which wasn't that long, I have been stuck in this room with this woman.

My head started spinning as I was slowly faded away, with my last glance being the forest green eyes and a sadistic smirk.

"Don't defy my wishes darling."

I opened my eyes, seeing myself being surrounded by blankets and waking up in a painted room. My eyes trailed up towards the roof seeing a girl running into a forest with a quote: Whoever shall defy, shall once again die.

"Darling, I'm so glad your awake. Time to get you dressed and have your makeup done, you look disgusting. Now the Queen also is summoning you so hurry up." I was pushed out of bed and before I knew it I was in a long, white dress that exposed my back and neck. It had little white roses intertwined into the silk and had a long trail. It hugged my curves as I stared into myself and my long blonde hair was braided into a French side braid.

The petite woman looked me up and down then glanced at my face.

" Your eyes are certainly pretty but your face is so simple without makeup. Makeup makes it pop and then the boys will notice you, just like the Queen."
