I sigh, tossing the last box in the empty corner. "Finally." I flop down on my new comfortable couch. I wanted to stay here for awhile. Mystic Falls was amazing, yes. I loved it there, yes. But I couldn't stay. I had too many people finding out my secret. I frown lightly to myself. My blank gaze falls down to my ring, I stared at the red rubies that lined the black metal for what seemed like forever but it was probably just a few seconds. I thought back to my old friends. Especially Bonnie. She was terrified of me, how could she not? But she was kind enough to enchant this ring for me, it beats the 'sunscreen' I used to use every day. It only lasted a couple hours! I look towards the window, it was pitch black. I forcefully pushed myself off the couch and walked to my new bedroom in my apartment. It was pretty modern, but I loved it.
I learned to love the new generations after awhile. It changes every time, I learned to love the new things in my immortal life. I walk over to my closet, pulling open the doors before grabbing a random tank top and short. I changed quickly, too tired to do anything else. I slug over to my bed, I fell on the soft, fuzzy fabric. I cuddled into the blankets, feeling the warmth on my cold body. I clapped twice and turned off the lights, then fell asleep quicker than blowing out a flame.
