Shinee~ The Fight

"Kaylee hurry up the boys are waiting" your best friend Taemin yelled up the stairs. 

"Taemin calm down I’m coming" you say hopping down the stairs. 

"Sorry I just really miss Minho" Taemin looked down; a slight blush grazed his cheeks. Taemin has been your best friend since birth so the two of you were visiting both of your families for the last week, meaning he has been away from his boyfriend the entire time. 

"It’s okay Taeminnie. He’s your boyfriend of course you miss him and he missed you too. So let’s not keep him waiting" you say walking out the front door Taemin ran out door at to the car where he started jumping up and down excitedly as he waited for you to unlock the car. You unlocked the car and both jumped in and you started driving to the SHINee dorms. Once you arrived, Taemin jumped out of the car and ran to the door with you right on his heels. He threw open the door and practically skipped all the way to Minho who was standing in the kitchen with his back to us. Taemin embraced him a huge hug as soon as Minho turned around, Minho leaned down a placed a sweet kiss on Taemin’s lips. You smiled loving how they were so happy together. Minho came up to you and gave you a hug.

 "Annyeong Kaylee. How was the trip?" Minho asked as he released you, you smiled brightly up at him before telling him all about the trip you and Taemin had. Suddenly you realized that Key, Jonghyun and Onew were nowhere to be seen. You look at Minho in confusion; he smiled and pointed to the door that leads to the game room. You stood up and told Minho and Taemin that you were going to see the others before walking to the door. When you opened the door you saw the rest of SHINee sitting on one of the couches watching TV. You shut the door and all of their heads whipped around to look at you, there was a moment of silence before they all jumped up and engulfed you in a group hug.

“Kaylee, your back. Do you want to watch a movie with us?” Onew asked once you broke free of the hug.  You smiled at all of them and nodded yes. You, key, Jonghyun and Onew all sat down on the couch. It went Jonghyun, you, key and then Onew.  About half way through the movie you felt your eyelids get heavy so you laid your head down on Jonghyun’s shoulder. Jonghyun seemed to tense up for a moment before happily wrapping his arm around you and lifting your legs to lay them across his lap turning your back to Key. 

“Aigoo~ Kaylee your so cute when your sleepy.” He cooed brushing a piece of hair away from your cheek. You heard Key huff behind you but you didn’t think much of it at the time. You drifted off to sleep in Jonghyun’s embrace but when you awoke you were suddenly in Keys arms snuggling up next to him. You raised your drowsy head and glanced around the room, both Onew and Jonghyun had disappeared leaving you and Key who had a very satisfied smile on his face.

“Where is everyone?” you mumble to Key who was intently staring at the rolling credits before he looked down at you. 

“They went to sleep but I didn’t want to move and wake you.” He whispers tracing circles on your shoulder with his thumb. “Don’t worry just go back to sleep.” You did as he said. 

The lights shone through the window into your eyes, when you finally woke up you were still on the couch but alone this time. You could hear voices in the next room so you tugged yourself off the couch and trudged out where you found Minho and Taemin sitting together at the table with plates of breakfast made by Onew. He was still tending the stove but he turned around. 

“Good morning Kaylee!” he sang, his eyes curved upwards into their adorable crescents as he swung a spatula in his hand. Minho and Taemin also greeted you when you took a seat at the table. A plate was immediately placed in front of you and a napkin lay across your lap both thanks to Onew. You smiled thanking him for the food. Key and Jonghyun walked in later when you finished eating telling you that it started to rain and that you should stay here until it stops.

“I can take her.” Onew suggested timidly. “I’ll take her home, don’t worry about it.” Key and Jonghyun looked displeased by his suggestion but they agreed reluctantly. As soon as you put away the dishes you ate on Onew linked his arm with yours and the two of you were off with an umbrella in hand. The walk home was peaceful and quiet, Onew refused to let go of your arm the entire time and he walked with a large smile on his face. 

“I’m sorry you had to do this Onew, I didn’t mean to spend the night” You sigh as you came closer to your apartment building.

“Kaylee you know we love having you at the dorms and it’s never a burden! Besides I was more than happy to walk you home, I like spending time alone with you.” The atmosphere suddenly got heavy when Onew’s hand slid down to your wrist and his fingers intertwined with your own. A smile crept onto your face as you arrived to the door of your apartment building. Onew pulled you towards him placing a single kiss on your forehead before you could thank him for walking you home. You stood in shock for a split second before you said something.

“Thank you Onew Oppa, I really missed you while I was gone. I’ll see you soon okay?” you smiled sweetly at him and he replied with a nod before waving goodbye and returning down the path the two of you had come from. 

~~~~~ One week later ~~~~~~~

You leaped out of bed and slipped on your favorite jeans and sweater. You had been busy lately with work and family affairs you could hardly talk to any of the boys. Taemin visited you at your apartment once but you fell asleep less than twenty minutes after he arrived. Other than that you tried to message them but your conversations always seemed to get cut short, but not today. You requested the day off from work claiming to have a family problem that needed to be tended to but that wasn’t the truth. You needed a day to yourself and decided the first thing you should check off that list is to visit the SHINee dorms. So you grabbed some coffees and pastries for all six of you to share and headed straight over there. You let Taemin know that you were coming the night before and he said he would let the others know. Luckily enough another man was going into the building at the same time as you so there was no need to buzz up to their room to request entrance, instead you skipped your way to the elevator and to their door. You froze in your steps, as you heard shouting coming from inside the room, you couldn’t tell what they were saying but it seemed like a very heated argument. There was a sudden pause before another outburst, only this time it was louder. You swung the door open and ran in to see Onew with a strong grip on Jonghyun’s collar, Jonghyun had a bit of blood seeping from the corner of his mouth. Taemin had Key’s arms held above his head to keep him out of the conflict while Minho was trying to separate the other two, but all yelling and hitting stopped when they saw you standing terrified in the doorway. Onew let go of Jonghyun who had quickly wiped the blood from his lip and straightened his stature. Taemin let go of Key and walked to you with an apologetic face.

“Kaylee why didn’t you buzz before you came up?” he purposely blocked your view of the situation. 

You looked up at him then looked behind him at the rest of the boys with wide eyes and asked “what is going on? Why are you fighting?” your eyes start to water as you think back to the past week and how tense and strange Key, Onew and Jonghyun where acting around you. “It’s because of me isn’t it? You are all fighting because of me, aren’t you? I’m so sorry for this”

“No Kaylee it’s not your fault, we were being childish. We are so sorry” Key said and they all hugged you tight saying sorry over again. “But we need to know. Who do you like?” Key said after you all pulled away from the hug. “We will respect your decision no matter what” the boys all looked at you waiting for your answer, you took a deep breath.

“I really love all of you but its more as a brother/sister love except for one of you who I have liked for quite a while now. And it’s Jonghyun. Key, Onew I’m sorry” you say looking at the ground, not being able to look at them. 

“Kaylee don’t be sorry. We just want you to be happy, so don’t worry about us” Onew said and Key nodded his head in agreement, you smiled at them. Suddenly you were lifted off the ground and into a pair of strong arms. 

“Kaylee will you be my girlfriend?” Jonghyun asked, you looked at the other boys to see that they were all smiling and nodding their heads. 

“Yes I will be your girlfriend” you say then place a sweet kiss on his lips and hugged him tightly. They others cheered before hugging each other, apologizing for punching or hitting one another. You smiled again happy that everything was okay again.
