It was a cold dark evening.
When he was still found dreaming.
He counted down.
Until he lost what was already found.

We were always acquainted
But by now those thoughts were vacant
For he went to far
The score was already at par

I knew by now he had to go
He had an interview at the show
I accompanied him
Showed him to a place he could've been

He took a look around
It almost seemed like he had drowned
I took him somewhere he could choke
To a place that was full of smoke

Like I said, he had an interview at the show
Which I accompanied him to and fro
I was the recruiter
But then again he forgot to check the shooter

I thought he had enough
For such a terror I had brought
He played me like Billy Goats Gruff
In the end it wasn't what we thought

A Cold dark Evening it was
He was found dreaming indeed
He was counting down
He had lost what he had already found
