I don't know what I did to deserve this kind of treatment. It's like the whole world is against me. Like nothing is ever in my favor. Nothing at all.

This morning, when I opened my locker there was this huge toad inside. I'm scared of toads. I shrieked upon seeing it. My knees got all wobbly and too weak that I eventually fell on the floor. Everyone around me laughed, taking photos and whatnot. No one, not a single person, bothered to help. I got back on my feet and ran away from the scene towards the back of the school.

I saw two people near the campus woods holding a few toads. The other one was laughing. I suppose they were the ones who put that toad inside my locker. One of them looked at me and our eyes met for a split second. I made sure to look at him with nothing but hatred and disgust before I walked and decided to not attend school for the rest of the day.
