Chapter9

My arm ached! I crouched on the mat sweating and huffing trying to catch my breath.

"Oh, come on! Are your seriouse? Its only been-" Adrian glances at his watch."8 minutes and your already on the floor"

Looking up at him, my eyes fixed on his sword, i pulled up from the floor and stumbled backwards luckily i caught my balance and headed for the door.

"Hey where are you going we still got 50 minutes?!" He yelled coming towards me. I stopped at the door and i could feel his breath behind me and the sweet smell of his shirt, my back hair stood up. With a blink of an eye i twirled around punching Adrian on his jaw which made him stumble backwards, then kicked him in the ribs, not that hard of course. He fall to the ground and ground in pain, my sword came down 1cm away from his chest. I defeated him. Our eyes locked, his dazzling green eyes shone and his breath steady. I could of just leaned over and kissed him but i pulled back stepping up handing over my hand.

He grabbed it and stood up. "Impressive" Smiling he walked towards the door and was heading out. " hey i though we will had 50 minutes!" I called out grinning.

"Tomorrow is where we actually begin, little rider. I knew you could do it" he called out behind him not bothering to turn around but i could tell he was grinning.
