We walked by the sea of people with shopping bags and happy faces. My mind was focused on Adrian, hoping i don't get lost. He was way further than me i tried squeezing past everyone but i ended up going backwards.

"Hey wait up" i shouted making the people around me stare right up at me.

Just then I lost Adrian, i tip toed searching for a black haired guy but nothing. This time i just shoved everyone out of my way not caring what they think of me.

I round the corner leading to an empty ally way. Rubbish was scatted all over the floor giving out a horrible smell. I stood on top of a tall stool so i could get a glance further down the road. I hate being small. Just then 3 people came out from a corner and was heading down 2 bulky guys were each at a side of a black haired dude. Adrian. I ran as fast as i could, the 2 tall men turned their heads and ran for it, dragging along Adrian. They were too fast but i kept running, running for him. Suddenly, something hit the back of my head and

my vision blurred. I fall to to the ground on my left arm i thought i heard a crack but just then blackness inked around me.

I heard an old man muttering, the lamp beside me was dim. I forced my eyes open and jolted right up, i shouldn't of done that my head went blurry again and the room felt like it was turning around. I put my hand on my head and realised my left arm was in a cast. My vision came again making out where i am.

"Ahh you recovered quickly, sorry my name is Dorian" he leaned over his wrinkled hand, he must be like 60. He was tall and lean he wore a checkered, black top with loose trousers.

"What am i doing here?" I asked ignoring his hand. Then it all came back to me.

"Im sorry, but back then who were... You running for?" He asked ignoring my question.

I didn't know if i should tell him or not but i told him i was running after a friend of mine.

"Why?" I asked

"Dear, if i may ask is it possible... Its possible that your an...... After earth?" Ignoring me.. Again.

My heart pounded like it was exploding, my blood ran hot.

"Y-yes how d-did you know" i stuttered tying to say the word aloud.

"Your amulet, i recognise it but i- i don't remember from where" he voice was calm but i had to know where he recognised it from.

"Sir, are you-"

"No I'm not" he chuckled.

"Then how-"

"I had a great friend of mine who was an after earth his name was Arther, we met many years ago and we became very close friends, he told be everything about his species and language an-"

"Sir, you know the language !" I blurted out.

"Yes but some of it has slipped out of my mind I'm afraid" he sighed "was there some thing you wanted" he asked.

Slipping my hand into my pocket i pulled out a small piece of paper and handed it over to him.

"idolativ rare undas" he read out loud.

"Do you know what it means?" My heart was full of excitement.

"I don't but its some sort of spell i think, where did you find this" he asked.

"Somewhere" i shrugged. I didn't totally trust this guy, not yet.
