"Mother, I am not a child!" Sirius argued as he had tried to be brave, countering his mother's argument. This had been going on for hours. The two arguing consecutively, for hours on end. All just because Sirius had found out about muggle drugs, had fun, and had spoken to muggles. Like a normal teenager would. He just couldn't have fun in this family at all it seemed. His whole life, this family had been completely messed up. "I'm almost an adult! You can't control me forever! I'm bound to go sneak out every once in a while because you're too fucking controlling!"
When Sirius proclaimed that he was an adult, that he wanted his own life, Walburga snapped. Almost as though she wasn't losing a son, but a piece of property she owned. "Don't you dare speak to me that way!" She screeched, stepping closer to Sirius and yanked his hair, gripping it tightly, pulling on it.
"You will always listen to me," She snarls. On the father side of the hall, Regulus heard everything. "I am your mother. You have disgraced this family, this name, and me." Sirius could feel cowardice fill every sinew in his body. Why his mother was the one who caused this fear made him feel terrible, weak; like he didn't belong.
"I do not care." Sirius growls, trying to keep his composure; slowly but surely, though would break down. "This whole family is a whole mess of batshit mad people who have resorted to inbreeding because no one else can fucking stand them other than themselves!"
Oh shit now I've done it... Sirius thought, watching his mother's eyes dialate, growing more hostile than ever. She decided that the only way that he would get anything through that damned Gryffindor skull of his was force. Brute. Force.
Walburga pulled harshly at Sirius' hair, ripping out a few of the strands, Sirius making a sound that was like the catch if air stuck in his throat behind a lump. "What did you just say?" She asks with the coldest, most prominent malice in her voice. She was this close to just scalping Sirius, prepared to ruin and rip his skin. However, Mrs. Black only pulled harsher in his hair, making him suppress a wince.
With the bit of moxy and confidence Sirius had left, he retorted with a cool, "You heard me," with a spit and obvious, pained sneer."Oh yes indeed, I heard you..." Walburga said with a malicious, evil laugh. She snaked her hand that held her wand up to Sirius' hair, the long and dark waves flowing and slipping past her wiry, veined fingers. With her wand poised and this terrible grin upon her shrewd face, she cast a murmur of a curse to slice Sirius' hair off in one choppy cut. "I hear you loud and clear!" She finally finished. She took pride in stripping Sirius of his hair, hearing the cry of shock and surprise drink him immediately after she sliced the hair off.
But was she done? Oh no; Mrs. Black had far much more in store, going and moving her hand now so that she was gripping Sirius' wrist in a vice. Nail impacts and scratches along with bruises dotting his skin.
Regulus couldn't bare to watch this, the utterly dear that their mother was instilling into Sirius by sheer pain and abuse. He was all too tempted to reach out for their mother and beg her to stop. But, for some reason that he just couldn't fathom, Regulus couldn't move.
He was stuck there. A mere stone statue created by the evil gorgon that was his mother who was tormenting his older brother.
"You are scum!" Walburga shrieked, another noise in the painful sounds added in by Sirius, who's grip was being constricted. And by adding on to the pain of having his hair cut so harshly, Walburga screamed a shrill "Crucio!" To torture Sirius, adding to this horror show.
Sirius, immediately when the spell was cast on him, let out pained gasps and screams, his face contorting in utter, excruciating pain, his head pounding and ears ringing intensely. Every muscle in his body: his brain, his eyes, limbs, everything, was in pain.
