Once the four of them were at the castle, they headed in quickly and almost urgently so that they could go to their dorms, to relax a little before dinner had the chance to happen, to finally meet up with Remus, who was stuck here all Sumer. Not that that was a bad thing of course, Sirius knew that Remus would enjoy his stay at the castle, since he was lucky that Dumbledore had favoured him and the other three, despite their tendencies of finding way too much trouble. He could never fail to admit that they were quite amusing and indeed, good kids as he called them.
But, Sirius' best moment of returning would roughly be when he would be able to see Remus again; see his perfect hair and his perfect Remus face. Of course, he'd never admit to them being true, those feelings of thinking Remus were perfect. It just came across to him as some sort of dumb little guy crush that everyone had had once in their life. It was a thing that happened, quite frequently actually.
The way Sirius was thinking so much had caught both Peter's and James' eyes as they were walking through the common room and to their dorm, making James snort with amusement. "Thinking alot there, are we Sirius?" James asks with a smirk, that normally meant the exact opposite of anything good. He always had this dumb look on his face whenever he was thinking of something, plotting. One, James' brows furrowed and his left corner of his lips stayed up in a grin.
"James you prat shut up," Sirius grimaced, glancing to catch that dumb look on his face, making him cringe on the inside. Hopefully, James wouldn't probe too much and see that he, indeed, was anticipating seeing Remus. "It's nothing, I'm just glad to see Remus again, that's all." He said in defense. He knew that the two weren't going to read into this, Sirius just thinking about him. He knew how Remus was sometimes with him. He looked out for Sirius, and quite frankly, he thought too much of him, he'd like to think.
Then, Sirius, Peter, and James finally made it to the dorm door, opening it to see that it was unlocked, and inside, Remus was finishing up tying his tie for his uniform, not hearing the door creaking and opening and not noticing the three there standing before him. Until it was made blatantly obvious when James went in and said a rather loud, "Hello Mister Lupin!" With his dumb smile, making Sirius shove James with annoyance.
"James, do you have to be obnoxious the moment you see him?" Sirius asks with distaste, going over to his bed and sitting down, Peter agreeing wholeheartedly with Sirius. James had the tendency to be a bit of a prat at times. Most times. "I'm with Sirius...Can't you just greet him as a normal person and not be loud?"
"No, as a matter of fact mates, I cannot." James stated with a huff, Remus side eyeing James from his tie then straightening up his posture, to reveal that indeed, he'd grown quite a few inches taller, being lankier than before, if that'd been possible. "My, Remus! How tall are you now mate? Six foot?"
"Just about six one maybe, six two." Remus admits modestly with a shrug, not making it seem like he had pride in being taller. Well, pride really wasn't the word he was looking for. Kind of a love hate relationship with them if he was being honest. He was tall, yes, but he felt awkwardly tall, like his limbs were too long for his body.
"Six one? Bloody hell Rem, you'd be towering over those two! Sirius being the baby of course," James sniggered, making Sirius give him a glare, knitting his prim eyebrows to show his disgust. "Shut up James, I'm taller than Peter!" He says, in addition to his glare.
"Only by a couple inches Sirius. I'm five six." Peter clarifies, hinting that Sirius was only somewhere between five eight and five nine, leaving him to, evidently, be one of the shorter people. At least compared to Remus. Sirius could've sworn that he could see a small hint of a smirk upon his lips when James said that Sirius was the baby. And that smirk on Remus' face made his whole body grow hot and his cheeks hotter, a burning sensation in his blood vessels. Remus was too bloody perfect for him, that damn prat, Sirius thought.
