(Recommend the video to be played in the background. You don't have to, it just adds to the story! Enjoy! :')

(And yes, the main character is Odite. That is her Latin nickname, so they don't have to use their real names. ^^)

Step. Step. Step.

Repeat.

Quiet foot steps echoed through the dull halls. The floor, was made out of cold and dark grey stone. The walls, a light, but dull yellow colour. They were dull. Nothing was up on the walls, and the only true decoration was the wooden oak doors along the corridors, leading into more hallways and rooms. A young woman, hidden behind a dull, but golden looking bird mask walked slowly through the hallway. Her face, was completely covered, the only thing showing was her icy blue eyes that seemed distant as she looked forwards. She walked slowly, in silence. The only noise was her steps.

She turned the corner, only to stop dead in her tracks. Another, dressed similar to her, with a black jacket and the same mask, stood in front of her. They were taller than her, so she had to look up at them. She knew who they were. They knew who she was.

They both stayed silent, looking up at each other. They looked over their shoulder, their voice was muffled by the mask.

"Odite,"

She looked past him, her icy light blue eyes still looked distant. As if she was focusing on something else, something further away from the man stood in front of her.

"Odite." The muffled voice repeated.

This time, the man had her attention. She looked back up at him, and nodded slowly.

"Yes, Celeritas?" She asked. Her voice, just like his, was muffled by the mask. They weren't supposed to talk unless it was absolutely needed. And this, was one of those times.

"Down there, take a left. Escort the Cadets to the courtroom, it's their court case." And without another word, Celeritas walked past her. His footsteps echoed, until they could be heard faintly and eventually just died out.

She watched him leave, then continued to take the directions he had given her. She had only been in the Squadron for a few days. She was considered the newbie of the group. She had a long way to go before she was accepted into this, 'family', to which they referred to themselves as. She opened the wooden oak door. It creaked as she pushed it open slowly.

The gathered Cadets, the four of them stopped their talking and looked over at her. She blinked, as one of them hit the other on the shoulder and laughed. She turned her head towards the Cadet, narrowing her eyes slightly at him. She was armed with a musket and handcuffs if she needed them. She held open the door, watching each of them walk towards the door. All she had to do, was escort the cadets to the courtroom, where the Judge and other Commanders were waiting.

She had been to enough court cases to know what will happen to the four. They were being charged with murder, of two fellow Cadets, because they were attempting to assassinate the Scouting Legion Commander. The two Cadets, who died, were in the way of the attempted attack, and lost their lives.

She knew the two Cadets. They had been her little sister's best friends, Aurelia was her name. The Cadets had looked after her, while Odite had been away in the inner walls. Aurelia had wanted to join the Trainee Corps, like Odite, like these now dead Cadets. Aurelia had always wanted to follow in her older sister's steps, without knowing the consequences if a wrong move was made.

She died, though.

Aurelia died.

She died when the wall fell. When the Titans broke through the wall, claiming their fresh meals of all the humans. Her Mother, her little sister. Her world fell when she had found out. That her little, beautiful sister, was picked up by her arm and consumed slowly. It was like they were tormenting her, her last final moments were one of torment and pain. But she knew, that Aurelia was now with her friends. Her friends that missed her so much, that were determined to make it far in the military for her. For humanity, but now all three of them, were nothing but names that would eventually be forgotten in time.

One of the Cadets stopped, so she pushed him forwards in a quick, forceful shove. The Cadet gritted his teeth, looking over at her. She was smaller than him, but she had Military Experience unlike the Cadet.

And unlike these Cadets, she'll live to see the next few days. The next few weeks, and months, and years.
