The class went by really fast because the only thing that professor Perkins did was explain what we were going to do in that class and some basic rules that you hear all professors say. As soon as he ended his speech he let us leave.
I was still wondering if he was going to be a good professor but i couldn't think straight since those piercing green eyes and those kissable lips were appearing in my mind without my authorization.
My thoughts were interrupted by a familiar voice:
-Mag, are you coming to have lunch with us? We are going to that café in the corner of the street.
-Well, I don't know...
-Oh common, college is about making friends and not staying somewhere by your own.
I didn't have anything to lose, and it was just a lunch, my mum wouldn't be upset, I think... And Jo was pratically begging me so...
-All right I'll go.
-Yeah, that's the spirit girl.
I just met her this morning and I already could see that she was the type of girl that is always excited about everything. But at least she seemed to care about me. That was a good thing wasn't it?
Us, me, Jo and some of her friends walked to the café and soon arranged a table where we could all fit.
I wasn't really sociable, I didn't have many friends back home. I just stayed home and studied even on the holidays. My mum didn't encourage me to make friends, she apreciated the fact that I was home all the time, that meant no drugs, no sex, no nothing.
So I was really surprised when I talked naturally with all of Jo's friends. I really liked them, they were nice and friendly. I was especially fond of Erik and Sarah, they were a couple and really cute.
When I was thinking that it wasn't that bad to have friends my responsible part of the brain remembered me: " Don't get distracted with friends, focus on college".
Having a very responsible part of the brain that seems like my mum , like you can imagine, it's not funny at all.
-Mag? Maggie!- screamed my beautiful friend right on my ear. Feel the sarcasm.
-Hum, yes?- I wanted to kill Jo right now. My ear was still throbbing.
-You were really not here. I bet you were thinking of professor Perkins. Cause, damn, he's sexy. Did you look at those curls and those damn eyes? God it's a shame that he is a professor... Don't you think?
- I don't know, I wasn't playing attention to that.- I said shrugging.- All I know is that he is too young to teach us anything.
- Don't be like that. At least in that class we can admire his beauty since in the other classes the professors are all old.
- Well if you say so...
I looked to my wrist where mt watch was and realised that I was running late for my Management class.
-I have to go. Sorry! See you later.
- No problem girl. I'll call you or something.
- Okay. Bye.- I said when I was steping out of the café door.
I started walking to my clsssroom that was on the other side of the campus.
As usual I was distracted with my thoughts when I suddendly bumped into something and fell on the ground.
- Autch...
- I'm so sorry. I didn't see you.
- It's okay. It wasn't really your fault.- I said really embarrassed.
I looked up and couldn't really see the person who was reaching out his hand to help me because of the sun.
When I got up, I realised that it was my Economics teacher and apologised:
- Oh, I'm sorry professor- I said stuttering a bit.
- You are my student?- He said a bit shocked.
- Yes, we had class this morning.
- How is it possible to have such a beautiful student and don't even notice it?
I didn't respond but I started to blush really hard. My cheeks were worse than a tomato.
- Ah... Hum... I have to go.- This time I stuttered a lot.
- Tell me your name.- He said a little loud cause I was already walking.
- Maggie- I said even louder. It was a shame the fact that I was now far away from the hottie.
I didn't just say that, did I?
