0. Prologue

    You had been walking down your school's monotone hallways with your best friends, Michael and Jeremy. You've all known each other since middle school, and most of the time stuck together supporting each other through the hell that is public school.

    "Hey do you guys wanna come over and play video games after class?" Jeremy spoke up, asking a very normal question for you guys. The three of you hung out about every day after school.

    "Of course, Jer!" Michael piped up in response.

    You had been deep in thought, not paying attention to the two boys walking with you.

    "(Y/N)? Hey? Are you listening?" Michael asks, waving a hand in front of your face. You snap out of your thoughts and look at your friends.

    "Oh! Video games! Sounds fun, I'll be there!"

    "You've been zoning out a lot lately, is something up?" Jeremy questioned.

    "Oh... No, nothing wrong."

    This was, of course, a lie. You had been feeling a lot lower than you normally had. But didn't want to talk to anyone about it, as you felt like a bother. You didn't feel like bringing your friends down with you, as they were both happy lately.
