He takes the pen, his hands shaking, and signs his name.

"GAYYYYY!" Rich yells.

Everyone in the hallway started laughing at him.

"Ahhhh, I like gay people," Chloe added.

You look at your friend, terror written all over his face, as his eyes start tearing up and he runs out of the building.

You quickly glance at Michael before you both start sprinting after Jeremy, but he was already out of sight.

You both pause, deciding to split up to find him faster. Michael runs off in the direction of the parking lot and you go towards the outside cafeteria area.

------------------------

You find Jeremy on one of the benches, his head in his hands, but you can tell he's crying by his loud sobbing.

You walk over to him, placing your hand on his back. He jerks at your touch.

"Hey, Jeremy? Are you okay?"

"No, (Y/N). Obviously I'm not okay."

You pull out your phone and quickly notify Michael of where Jeremy is and then sit next to him on the bench.

"(Y/N), I'm never gonna be the cool guy... I'm always gonna be the one who's left out." He takes his hands from his head to look at you, showing tears streaming down his face and his red, puffy eyes. "Of all the characters at school, I'm not the one who the story's about." He chokes out.

You place your hand on his face, wiping off his tears.

"Hey, you are the main character!" You take a Mountain Dew out of your bag, placing it on the table next to Jeremy.

He forces a smile, grabbing the drink and wiping the rest of his tears off of his own face.

"C'mon! Let's see if this works so Christine will notice you!"

You suddenly hear the sound of Michael's exhausted breathing behind you.

"Hey," He pauses, trying to catch his breath "I'm here."

You pat the bench and he walks over and sits down.

You hug Jeremy before he pulls the plastic baggie out of his backpack.

You stop him before he opens it.

"Are you sure you're ready?"

He nods, "Of course I am."

He opens the baggie, putting the pill on his tongue, and washing it down his throat with the Mountain Dew.

"Do you... Feel any different?" Michael asks him.

"No, not really." He replies.

"Uhm. Say something cool?"

"I think I just blew my money on a wintergreen Tic Tac"

"Ugh, you guys wanna go to Jeremy's now? Maybe something will happen later?" You suggest.

They both nod their heads in agreement.

-----------------------------

Once you arrived at Jeremy's house, you decided to take your pill, cause you didn't feel like losing the thing that cost you almost all of your savings. You put it on your tongue and washed it down with Mountain Dew.

You, Jeremy, and Michael walk into Jeremy's house to see his pantsless father sitting at the dining table on his computer.

You and Michael just slowly walk upstairs while Jeremy confronts his father.

"Seriously, dad? Why don't you put pants on!"

You sit on the beanbags Jeremy had in his room and turn on the game and wait for Jeremy to come upstairs.

----------------------------------------

"Apocalypse of the Damned!" Michael yelled.

"Level nine!" Jeremy continued.

"The cafetorium!" You all say at the same time, getting hyped for the game.

"Find the bad guy, push him aside! Then move on forward with your friends by your side! It's a three-player game so when they make an attack, you know you gotta brother gonna have your back!"

"And if you leave your brothers behind it's lame, cause it's an effed-up world but it's a three-player game!"

You guys were about to beat the level, then Jeremy fell on the floor, holding his stomach and immediately bursting into tears.

You quickly pause the game. "Jeremy? What's wrong?"

------- Jeremy POV -------

Suddenly, I had a wrenching pain going through my head and my stomach. I fall onto the floor, clutching my stomach. Just wanting the pain to go away. Fast.

"Target female: Inaccessible," This monotone voice said in your head. Where was it coming from?

"Jeremy? What's wrong?" You hear a familiar voice.

But I can't speak, it hurts too much.

"Calibration in progress. Please excuse some mild discomfort." The voice was back.

Mild? This isn't even close to mild!

"Calibration complete. Access procedure initiated."

The pain stops and I sit back up.

"What just happened?" Michael blurted out.

"I think it's working!" (Y/N) exclaimed, happily.

"Discomfort level may increase" The voice was back.

I fall over again and bawl my eyes out. It hurts so much.

"Accessing: Neural memory"

"Accessing: Muscle memory"

I'm spasming out of control at this point. I can't control my body. And the pain is excruciating.

"Access procedure: Complete"

"Jeremy Heere. Welcome to your Super Quantum Unit Intel Processor."

I open my eyes.
