"So I hear that you've taken an interest in Harry." Louis says as he sits across from me at the table of the restaurant that was right across the street from campus. Liam smirked as he set down his textbook. He looked up at Louis with a gentle smile.
"More like an unofficial relationship." Liam corrected. Louis raised his eyebrows at him in surprise. Since when were any of Liam's relationships unofficial?
"And you're okay with an unofficial relationship?" Louis asked curiously. Liam was the type of person who never cared to keep things a secret or to have them labeled something other than a relationship. So this was a shock.
"It's fine with me. He said he wouldn't be seeing anyone else. And neither am I. So as long as that is understood I don't really care what we're calling it." Liam said. He smiled and he felt good. His past relationships always made him feel the need to be overbearing or overly defensive. He felt he had to prove that he was good enough for his lovers. And now he felt like he was good enough for Harry. Harry never made him feel the need to have to defend himself for any reason. And Liam was happy. Dear lord was he happy.
From the simple caresses of Harry's hand slipping into his when they're alone and he needs to feel some sort of warmth. To the gentle tug of his lip when they are just so lost in one another. And the shaky breaths that escape Harry when Liam takes him. To the times where Harry just looks into his eyes and glides a soft hand across the planes of Liam's face, exploring every part of him that he can see. The way it moves ever so slowly trying to remember every part of him. He takes a second to caress his bottom lip with his thumb and a finger tracing the underside of his jaw. Harry had come to know Liam almost as well as Liam knew himself. And Liam just wanted to keep that feeling. To keep feeling that there was someone out there who knew him inside and out and still stuck around after knowing it. He loved that about Harry.

"So are you finally settling down then?" Zayn asked. Harry raised his eyebrows as if to say, 'really Zayn?' Of course Harry wasn't settling down. Does Zayn even know who Harry is? Harry is the guy who gets anyone he wants. And will play them until he's found his next toy. But something didn't feel right about the way he was thinking.
"Pfft. Please Zayn. Do you even know me at all? I don't settle down." Harry laughed.
There was that feeling again. That unmistakable pull in his chest that told him he wasn't acting right. What he was thinking and saying weren't what he really felt. Do you want to know what Harry felt? Well it was as simple as this.
Liam Payne took Harry's breath away.
It was the truth and Harry never thought he would find someone so perfectly in tune with himself again. Liam was everything Harry ever pictured. Handsome, big brown eyes, the cutest smile, perfect plump lips. Smart. Oh so smart, and strong, and caring, and masculine. He was the one for Harry. Because everything he did just drove Harry insane.
With the way he would sneak up behind Harry and nip at his neck, and then wrap his arms around Harry's waist and rock them side to side, just holding him like he could never imagine letting him go. The way Liam just stared at him for so long and did nothing but run his hands through Harry's hair. How when Liam kissed him, he always waited for Harry to take it further, not wanting to rush him into anything. Harry always wanted to take it further but Liam would always wait. And Harry loved that. Fucking hell did he love that. And how Liam constantly kisses his forehead before he leaves. Harry never thought that someone could be that perfect.
