Reflection worth a thousand dollars

In a world
Where money fuels our lives
We don't look back to see
Who we really are
We don't see our reflections as our personality
Or rather how much money we are worth
We forget to value our gift
Our strength
Our power
Of being human
And being capable of holding so many emotions
We look at our flesh
As mottled fabric needing treatment
Rather than thousands of remarkable cells each carrying out individual tasks
We fail to grasp
The beauty of living
But we hold on
To the abstract concept of payment and debt
We contemplate this concept
On a daily basis
Yet we forget the things
We saw yesterday
The flowers blooming under our feet
The birds singing in the wind
But we remember
That the walkers paprika crisps cost 89p at the station

We neglect the power of emotions
For emotions are what we are not:
Infinite (reference to THG- highly recommended and very good book!)
So share some love
Smile a little
Because a smile costs a lot more
Than you'd ever think
