"I am there for you." she says
Stroking my hand
Giving me a flicker of warmth
In this dark cocoon
Curtaining me from reality
"Even if it may not always look like it."
And she's gone. Leaving
A wanderer of night
An empress of solidarity
Lost in the haze of
Winter coats and exam grades
Her dainty fingers
Wrapped around a rotten apple
A microcosm of her eternal sorrow
Cascading down the evergreen trees of her soul
Swiftly decaying her youth
Menacingly.Balancing on a low hanging cliff
Jagged at the edges
Like a knife.
One foot forward
And I fall.A/N - If you are this person, I'd like to thank you for being in my life. You have taught me a lot and I hope we can continue to be the greatest of friends for the rest of our lives.
To everyone out there, I want you to realise the effect of your words. Words are much bigger than you think. They have as much power as you let them have.
Please carefully choose the words you use.
