Chapter 2

Daryl disappeared out of the prison gates and into the woods.

The rest of the group stood in line to get breakfast, Carol stood there passing out oatmeal , Then sending them on their way.

She caught herself starring into the woods hoping to catch a glimpse of Daryl.

The day passed slowly as she continued her daily routine, She still hadn't laid eyes on the man that made her heart skip a beat since breakfast.

The sun was setting on the prison, The group was feed and most were making their way into their cells for the night. She seen Daryl approaching dragging something big behind him, Carl opened the gate letting him in.

Carol rushed over to see what he had brought in, There were two deer laying on the ground behind Daryl he tossed a couple squirrels out of his bag also.

- "I See What Took Ya All Day"

Carol said

- "No Shit"

Daryl Smirked

- "Come On I Saved Ya Sum Food"

Carol Spoke

Carol walked back up to the kitchen area with Daryl trailing behind her.

-"Sit"

Carol said pointing at the bench

-"Fine Woman, What Cha Save Me"

Daryl mumbled

Carol walked over handing Daryl a bowl loaded with rabbit stew, He sat there stuffing his face his bowl was bout empty, Carol walked over to him and filled it back up with what was remaining in the pot.

-"Go Get A Shower & Some Rest I Think Rick's Wanting To Go On A Run Tomorrow"

Carol Said

-"K"

Daryl mumbled

Daryl walked into the prison leaving Carol to clean up, She walked over to were he was sitting and seen a picture on the ground she picked it up and seen it was a picture if Daryl & Merle.

Carol shoved it in her pocket and finished cleaning up.

She walked in the prison it was quite everyone must be getting ready to go to sleep, She thought to herself.

She made her way up the stairs of the prison and walked past her cell, into the one beside her own which was Daryl's.

She pulled back the sheet tying to be quite incase he was sleeping but, when she stepped in he was shirtless with his back towards her. He hadn't noticed she walked in, She seen he had scars on his back just like she did.

He turned around, noticing she was standing there he hurried to throw his shirt on.

-"What Ya Doin Slippin In My Cell Like That Woman"

Daryl yelled

-"I..I Was Returning This You Dropped It Outside"

Carol Said handing the picture to him

-"Don't Ya Know How'd Let SomeOne Know Ya Commin In"

Daryl Said

-"S..Sorry I Thought You Might Be Sleepin I Was Jus Gonna Lay It On Your Table"
