Carol Looked At Daryl

-"I'm Sorry About Walking In Like That Last Night, Like I Said I Thought You'd Be Asleep"

Carol Said Staring Down At The Floor Now.

It Was Silent For A Minute But Carol Broke The Silence Between Them, She Sat Up Looking At Daryl.

-"Can I Ask You Something"

Carol Said

Daryl Nodded Lettin Her Know She Could

-"I Saw The Scars On Your Back, Who Put Them There?"

Carol Asked

Daryl Looked Down Suddenly Feeling His Cheeks Burning With Embarrassment That Made Him Uncomfortable He Didn't Like Talking About It, But He Was Closer To Carol Than Anyone At The Prison.

Carol Could See It Was A Sensitive Subject For Daryl So Before He Could Say Anything Carol Took Off Her Shirt.

-"I Don't Normally Show These Off But I Have Them Too"

She Said Softly

He Still Didn't Say Nothing.

She Stood Up And Turned Around To Face Him This Time, She Wiggled Her Pants Down A Ways.

Daryl's Eyes Grew Wide

Carol Held Back The Smile From Seeing Him Look At Her The Way He Did.

-"This Ones The Worst, Ed Came Home Drunk One Night Mad He'd Lost His Poker Game, He Started Arguing With Me & Before I Knew It He Sliced Me With A Knife, And I'd Like To Think If The Sorry Son Of Ah Bitch Was Here Now I'd Slice Him."

Carol Said

-"My Ol'e Man Would Come Home Drunk Beat Me And Merle, But When Merle Was Old Enough He Left, The Beatins Jus Got Worse Then Every Night Same Thing."

Daryl Said In A Low Voice.

Carol Nodded Letting Him Know She Understood.

-"Feel Lucky Mr.Dixon"

Carol Said A Little Flirty

-"Why's At"

Daryl Asked

-"Your The First Man To See Me This Unclothed Other Than Ed"

Carol Said

-Even Before You Met Ed, NoBody"

Daryl Asked

-"Nope Not One, Virgin Til I Said I Do"

Carol Said

Daryl Just Looked At Her Still Standing There.

-"I Ain't Never Told No Woman This So I Hope It Comes Out Right And Means Somethin To Ya Woman, But Even With The Scars & All The Hell You've Been Threw, Inside & Out Your Beautiful."

Daryl Said In A Much Softer Tone.
