Chapter 43

Jazmines Pov

Once I step out of the car and see the pier clearly I notice that there is a carnival. I smile brightly at the sight. Ive always been fasinated with this kind of things even though I havent been to this sort of thing in a long time.

"Were at the carnival?" I smile.

"Yea I thought that you would enjoy this kind of thing." Louis smiles.

I take his hand as I begin to walk towards the pier. I see all the people and rides I start to get excited.Last time I was at one of these was when I was just 9 with my family.I was so excited when I was there. I rode every ride there and I played every game. I spent my whole piggy bank on  the games. I wanted to play them so I could say I played every game. I won around 17 stuffed bears and lots of bouncey balls. I still have a few but most just vanished.

"Lets ride that!" I say

I begin to pull Louis to the big ride that goes upside in loops. He kind of looks frightened.

"Is the Louis Tomlinson scared of that ride" I ask curiously.

"No" He buffs.

We then walk towards the ride. I could tell that he was scared. I begin to wait in line.

"Are you sure you want to ride this?' Louis says swallowing the gulp in his throat.

"Yes, but the question is are you ready?" I ask.

"As long as you're with me I'm ready" Louis says.

I smile at this statement. Louis is so sweet. you could tell he wasn't exuberant about the ride.

As the line starts to move were about to get on the ride. Louis is nervous. As we walk to a spot on the ride we sit and strap in.

3.....2.....1

The ride is then off. As it begins to end Louis isnt that scared anymore he seems to be having fun. When were off the ride he then looks exuberant.

"Can I tell you something that nobody knows?" Louis asks.

"Sure" I say.

"That was my first upside down roller coaster." Louis says.

"REALLY!!" I ask surprised.

"Yea..... Ive always been afraid of them. But today I wanted to stand up to them" Louis tells me.

"Oh really and whats the reason?" I ask.

"You, you make me not scared. Jazz can I ask you something?" He asks.

"Sure go ahead.." I say.

"Do you have any fears?" He asks.

"Nope, Im oblivion...... Nothing really scares me anymore" I say.

"Why?" he asks.

"May I tell you sometbhing that no ones knows?" I ask.

"Sure go ahead" He offers.

" Lou the reason Ive been to the pier and carnival only once was because my parents found out that I had cancer" I say just opening up.

"WHAT?" He asks.

"Yea but Ive only been cancer free for only 3 years. I had liver cancer. My livers just so happened to get better 3 years ago. " I say feeling the tears come to my eyes.

"Wow...." he says surprised.

"My parents brought me to a carnival because they wanted me to have the experience before I uh...... died" I say letting a tear slip.

"Oh Jaz im sorry" Louis says.

"It's fine you didnt know" I say wiping the tear away.

"So did you have it really badly?" Louis asks.

"Yea kinda I mean my parents brought me to one of these cause they thought I was going to die" I say.

"Wow Jazmine Im so sorry" He says.

"Its okay.... How about we play a game with those squirty guns where you have to shoot in the hole?" I ask

"Sure " he says.

We then sit down and begin to wait for the lady to tell us when to go.

3......2........1..... GO!

We begin to squirt. I think Louis wanted to win me something.

"WINNNNERRRR" the lady exclaims as she comes over to me. I pick a fluffy bear.

"Here I won this for you" I smile.

"Thanks love" He says taking it from me.

"Youre welcome" i smile

After my date with Louis I realzie that Louis is the only one besides my parents who know about my little dark secret and Im kinda glad that Louis knows.
