Percy, Jason, Frank, and Leo were sitting in a diner having brunch. They were in a booth next to the window. Percy and Jason were sitting on one seat, and Leo and Frank were sitting on the other.
Jason pointed to a girl on the other side of the diner, "She's hot!"
Percy pushed his arm down, "Dude, she almost saw that!"
Jason shrugged, "It doesn't matter. She's way out of our league anyways."
Leo said, "She's out of your league, not mine. I bet I could get her to kiss me."
Jason, Frank, and Percy laughed at him. "Yeah, right! You of all people! Ha, even Percy has a better chance of getting a kiss from her!" Jason said. They laughed at the insult to Percy.
"Dude, come on." Percy said, "I would have no trouble getting a kiss from her."
Jason smiled, "Alright, then do it. Get her to kiss you right now."
Frank frowned, "Jason, Percy has a girlfriend."
Jason said, "So what? He wouldn't be able to get a kiss anyways."
Percy stood up. "Where are you going?" Leo asked.
"I'm getting that kiss." Percy walked over to her table where she sat alone.
Frank gawked, "He can't be serious." Percy sat down at her table.
"Oh, he's serious." Jason said.
Percy extended his arm to her, "Hi, I'm Percy."
The girl smiled, and took his hand, "Piper."
Percy pointed at his table, "The guys and I were sitting enjoying our meal, when you came in. We couldn't help, but admire your beauty."
Piper laughed lightly, "Wow, a handsome guy who uses correct grammar, and knows how to flirt? Its a miracle!"
Percy raised an eyebrow, "Why do you think a guy can't have correct grammar, and flirt? I find that to be sexist. I'm going to have to tell a waitress about this. Surely, that can't be allowed here."
Percy sat up straight, and looked for a waitress. A look of horror went across Piper's face.
Percy laughed, "Calm, down. I was just kidding."
Piper sighed of relief, and gave Percy the look. Percy started laughing again. Piper crossed her arms, "That's not funny!"
Percy stopped laughing, and put his hands up in surrender, "Okay, I'm sorry."
Piper uncrossed her arms, "Good."
Percy leaned over the table, "Alright, let's get back to the important stuff."
Piper leaned over the table as well, "And what's that?"
Percy smirked, "Let's talk about how you think I'm handsome."
Piper laughed, "I never said that."
Percy grinned, "Yes, you did. You said, 'Wow, a handsome guy who uses correct grammar, and knows how to flirt? Its a miracle!'"
Piper said, "So what, if I did. It doesn't mean anything."
Percy leaned in closer so that he was inches from Piper, "It means. . .you like me."
Piper stared at Percy's eyes before she closed the gap between them. Percy pulled back, and pretended to wince.
Piper frowned, "What's wrong?"
"Nothing. I just. . ." Percy played with his fingers, "I was supposed to be a wingman for my friend over there, and I screwed it up." Percy pointed to Jason.
