Flashback:
I ran the streets of shingashina, tears welling up in my eyes and water falling down my splotchy cheeks, you'd look like that too if your parents were eaten right before your very eyes. You ran to the boats, stumbling and almost tripping multiple times, you finally made it to the docks, panting and wheezing.
The men guarding the boat ramp let you on with a look of pity in their eyes. You walked past them, drying your tears, you vowed that day you would never cry again. You bottled up all your emotions.
A few years later:
I stood proud, in a line with my fellow trainees getting called of by commander Shadis. He looked at me and apparently I wasn't emotionless enough so he got all up in my face. "WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?!!!" He shouted. "The person who is going to make your life hell if you don't get out of my face." I replied cooly.
He want to headbutt me but I sidestepped and hopped on his back, bringing him to the ground. He looked at me and nodded. "Good, you won't have to be put on the fields cadet........?" "Cadet F/N L/N sir." I replied with a smirk.
From that day forth we trained and trained and finally it was time for graduation.
We all stood in our rows, with me by mikasa. We both tied for first. I guess we both had bad pasts. We both got full marks on everything, so for the first time ever, there was a tie for trainees.
I fell to the ground.
All my bottled up emotions were seeping out like blood on a fresh wound, my would to be exact. I had saved a squad member from being eaten and took their place. I was in the enemies stomach.
I was about to accept my fate.... when I remembered what had happened before shingashina, before I was above, when I was in the underground
