It was mid July  when both my and Kairi's families decided we were leaving Japan and moving to Canada. At the time Kairi and I really didn't care as long as we would stay together. We are bestfriends, we have been since we were born and will be forever. I remember the night before we left Kairi and I went to our favorite place. My great grandma's Japanese Garden.  No one has entered the garden in about three years besides us. We usually went there every second weekends for picnic's and for getting away from the other kids. We were always the.. less ''popular'' kids.. I mean Kairi he was cute, and had a great personality.. but he was always with me. He was every day. What a stupid reason to not like someone huh? Well many people judged me because I had a lot of problems with socializing.. I had really bad anxiety and I was so quiet and shy.. I hated myself. I had such a good life, besides my.. personality. I had everything, a best friend who would never judge me or hate me for being myself, a loving sister and mother.. Who gave me everything I needed. The only thing I didn't have was a father. I guess I should explain... Well.. When I was about 6 my father lost his job. He started to drink way too much and became an alcoholic then from there.. he became abusive. Everynight he came home late, missed dinner, missed any events in our lives until I was 8. He passed away in an accident -- he was drunk driving. After that both Kairi's and my family decided to leave Japan too seek a new start, we chose Canada because It's beautiful, and we do speak fluent english, also because my mother wanted to teach a Japanese course there as well. As for Kairi he lives with three older brother's Kyzaki who is twenty-two, Yuji who is eighteen and then Ryota who is seventeen. Out of his three brother's he is closest with Ryota. I find that Ryota is just an older version of Kairi.. except a little more.. uh.. perverted? Anyways Kairi's two oldest brothers are amazing chefs, and are both hoping to get a career in Japanese cooking in Canada. ''Kairi, wake up!" I yelled, "'We are leaving in an hour, why aren't you ready!"  ''Would you shut your trap!'' ''I'll be down in a minute'''
