Chapter Five: A Day To Remember

I smiled at Talyn, drying my tears. "Fuck him. If he can't see that what we're doing isn't wrong, then he doesn't deserve to be my father." I said. He hugged me tight and chuckled. "It amazes me how strong you are. I would've broken if my father rejected me like that." he sighed. "But what if he does?" I asked. "what? That's nonsense!" Talyn laughed. "How is this nonsensical?" I asked. "My dad's a transsexual!" Talyn smiled. "Whoa! Seriously?" I cried. "Yeah! He likes dressing in women's clothing. It'd be hypocritical for him to be unacceptable to homosexuality." Talyn said. I smiled and hugged him.

"Felyx. one of these days, I'm gonna get a house for us to live in, just the two of us." Talyn whispered in my ear. "Don't worry, I don't care where we live, just as long as I'm with you, Talyn. And just think, in 5 more days, I'm gonna be 18!" I cheered. Talyn giggled and grabbed my hindquarters. "And this gets to be all mine!~" Talyn sung. I blushed and smiled. "Oh, stop it, Talyn, your such a flirt!" He kissed my forehead and smiled. "I promise to make it the best birthday ever." "It's bound to be the best if you're planning it." I smiled. "OOOOOHHHHH!!!! So cute!!! My little boy's in love!" a sweet voice cried. I looked behind me to see a pretty wolf with long black hair. "Oh, you must be Talyn's mother!" I said. "Hey, dad." Talyn said. I gasped. "I am so sorry, sir. I mean you looked so convincing as a woman and I-" "No, no. Don't worry about it, Felyx Creed! It's a compliment to me!" Talyn's father said," good heavens above, Felyx, what happened to you and Talyn today?" I stared in confusion. "My old man's a psychic. He can vaguely tell the past, present, and future." Talyn explained. "O-ok. So what happened was..." (***6 minutes later....***)

"Oh, my. What a horrible thing to hear from your father. I'm so sorry." Talyn's father comforted me," well your welcome to stay with us until you find your own place after your 18th birthday." "Thanks..." I started. "Sparrow." Talyn's father smiled. "Thank you very much, Sparrow." I said, hugging Sparrow.

*5 days later****** (\__/)

I awoke in Talyn's bed. Talyn wasn't there beside me, so I lied back down until he'd come wake me. "Happy birthday, Felyx." I heard Talyn say. "I'm finally 18 years old. It's kinda weird now that I've thought about it." I said. Talyn put a plate of cream cheese toaster strudels with extra frosting in front of me. "Oh, yummy! My favorite!" I screamed. Talyn sat on the bed as I gobbled down my breakfast. "Now, today we're going to spend the whole day out going wherever you want to go." Talyn said. "Alright, let's go to a movie." I suggested. "Done!" Talyn smiled, grabbing my arm to get up.

I was excited for the day. I tried my hardest to think of the surprises he had in store for me as we whizzed past buildings and cars on Talyn's bike. We reached the movie theater, and saw this new Horror movie called 'Puppy's Play'. It was about a killer chew toy who needs to take over the body and soul of a young pup. It was pretty good, it got me jumping on a few parts. But Talyn would hold me, and make everything better.

Next, we went to the mall and got each other a silver necklaces with a heart half. I didn't think that this day would've gotten any better. It was the most perfect birthday I've ever had!

Then the cherry on top came when he took me out to dinner. We stuffed ourselves, and couldn't have been happier, until he said to me:

"Felyx, you are the veins in my body, the stars in my night sky, the love of my life. I know we haven't been together for long, but I've never been happier than with you. I want us to be together from this day on forever... So I ask you, Felyx Creed" Then he got down on one knee and pulled out a beautiful golden ring." Will you marry me?"

I gasped and started to cry. "Yes. Yes! Yes, I will marry you, Talyn!" I screamed as I hugged him.
