The ball about to start in a few minutes and Fira was in her room all dressed up, wearing a bateau long black mermaid dress. Her hair was in a fishtail braid with a small tiara on her head with red diamonds in it. The Queen looks in the mirror with a deadpan look on her face. The Queen puts on a fake smile to get ready and greet the guests, she walks past her bed and dips her finger in the small pool of blood before leaving her room and licks it off her finger.
Walking out her room, Ren was standing outside waiting for the Queen, wearing a military-style suit and tie and gestures to lead her the ballroom.
"You look very lovely, my Queen" he compliments with a light blush on his face.
Fira sighs then take his arm, giving him a small smirk and wrap it around hers as they walk down to the ballroom. They enter the ballroom, being at the top of a grand stairwell where the Queen's sisters were waiting and Fira walks toward the railing, looking down at the thousands of humans and other creatures.
"I'm so glad, you all could come to this grand party! To celebrate the peace throughout our world" the Queen announced in a loud voice with a smile, "Please have a nice time tonight but don't cause any trouble or else"
With that, the Queen jumps over the railing and gracefully lands in front of the crowd as the music starts playing. Indistinctive talking fills the room as Fira takes a wine glass of stale blood and chugs it down, letting the intoxication of the blood consume her. She spots the royal werewolf family across from the room as she was drinking more stall blood and walks up to them, looking at the werewolf queen.
"Martha! It's been so long!" The Queen exclaims as she hugs the hairy woman, startling her and Alexander. Fira pulls away from her, taking another sip of blood and continues, "So your husband isn't here with you both?"
"Richard was being too lazy to even come, he's really missing out" Martha responds.
"If I were him, I would have definitely come with you cause I would be terrified of the thought of some other man sweeping you off your feet"
"Oh, please that's just the wine talking Queen Fira"
"But it's true, a woman like you all alone without a man by her side"
"I got my precious Alexander"
"He doesn't count as one yet" the Queen glances over to him, seeing the werewolf prince was quite annoyed by the comment and smirks, "A matter of fact, can I take him from you for a few minutes? I just want to tell him a few things"
Fira grabs Alexander by his arm and drags him away to a moonlit balcony, grabbing another wine glass from one of the servants. When they get there, the prince pushes away from the Queen and yells, "What the hell do you want with me?!"
"I just want talk and get a thank you from you," the Queen says nonchalantly as she swishes her drink around.
"I have nothing to thank you for!"
"Well, I'll just tell you mother about the problems you've been causing lately"
"No! Don't do that! Th-thank you for not telling her!" Alexander bows down in front of her and Fira lets out an unexpected laugh, confusing the prince.
"What are you doing?! Get up! You can be just too cute sometimes..." the Queen laughs then calms down, taking a sip of her drink, "I have so much faith in you for the future..."
"Wh-what do you mean by that?" Alexander asks, not understanding what's going on.
"You so pure-hearted and everything you do is for good of others, I know you'll be a great king for your kind. Maybe someday you'll take back some of the surface for the werewolves" Fira puts down the wine glass on the railing. She walking closer to him almost as she puts her hand to his face, petting his sideburns with a sad smile on her face, "I just want to know who's tricking you into doing these bad thing, I don't want you to fall into the darkness of this world..."
"Q-queen Fira?..." The werewolf prince blushes at the Queen's actions and word, kind of feeling guilty.
"You're a good kid Alexander and I hope you make the right choices" Fira goes back to her glass and finishes it, leaving the empty glass there.
