we all got into the cars we were originally in to head over to the beach house. Vic ended up coming with me and Gabe. i got in the backseat so he can cuddle me a bit. but once we got in the car and started going, it only took 2 seconds to realize Vic was shaking.
"baby why are you shaking?" he curls up to me as much as he can, but it's not enough to stop the shaking. "i don't know. i think its a mixture of what just happened, and me being in the cold for a little over an hour." he's right. plus i would be shaking too, if i were Vic.
i unbuckle his seatbelt to pull him slightly closer. it's not much, but it's something. Vic stops shaking whenever he notices, but it always comes back within 90 seconds. i tilt his head up to kiss him. but before i do, i take a minute to look at him. he's so phenomenal. it hurts to know he thinks so horribly toward himself.
i take a second to admire his eyes. his beautiful brown eyes. god i love this man so fucking much. i would lose myself, if i lost him. the fact that i almost lost him forever, scares me beyond what i know i can feel.
i tilt my head and pull him into a passionate kiss. it's filled so much emotion. emotions that i didn't know i can even feel. are lips are interlocked. i don't want it to end.
Gabe looks in the rear view mirror to see what we're doing. "ok leave room for jesus." Vic and i break it off because we can't help but laugh. i've always loved his laugh. it's filled with so much joy, even at a time like this.
we get to the beach house, and it's pretty sweet. it's like tony's parents just give him a second house and went, here. we decide to start a bonfire on the beach. cause you know. why not.
we all go inside and get chairs for the bonfire. i think its funny how Vic brought out a blanket. we set everything up, and finally have the bonfire going. then i realize tony and mike aren't outside still.
"hey! yo! mike and tony! are you coming out or not?" i raise my voice a little so they can hear me. mike responds. "yea! hold up! but all of you guys have to be in the chairs first!"
i look over at vic. he's struggling with the big fluffy blanket for some odd reason. i can't help but laugh. as much as i find this adorable, i should probably go help. when i walk over, half of the blanket is covering his face. i try not to laugh but i really can't help it. i hear vic say something, but it's muffled because of the blanket. "well are you going to help me or not?" i don't respond. i'm laughing to hard. i walk closer and lift the blanket out of his face. "dork."
he chuckles a bit before i kiss him. he starts struggling with the blanket it again. i break it off laughing, and help him with the blanket. as soon as it's in my hands, i grab Vic to sit down in the folding chair. he ends sitting in my lap. i take the blanket, wrap it around him, and hold him.
Tony and Mike come out with hot cocoa. Vic gets all excited that he has something warm, and sweet to drink. he hands a cup to Vic, then puts the cup for me in the holder connected to the chair. mike claps loudly, it startles me. "oh i forgot something!" he says enthusiastically. he runs back in, the runs out with 2 acoustic guitars. he hands one to Tony, then one to Jack. Mike whispers something to the two and they nod. Mike sits down, and Tony and Jack start playing "wake me up when september ends" by green day.
tony starts singing, then mike starts right after. "Summer has come and passed. The innocent can never last
Wake me up when September ends. Like my father's come to pass. Seven years has gone so fast. Wake me up when September ends." the rest of us start singing. i start swaying with Vic."Here comes the rain again. Falling from the stars. Drenched in my pain again. Becoming who we are. As my memory rests. But never forgets what I lost. Wake me up when September ends."
