Trying to see what I could truly find

they can't stop me
we all live in the same planet
I'm in control of myself and myself only
I'm never lonely
my soul will always stay with me
I will always have me
And I want you to know that
I know me more than you know me
You know nothing
The days I felt like I was nothing
crying on the floor
refusing to head out the door
pain aching through my core
that it becomes sore
as I fight these demons inside of me
trying to make them disappear
they were no good being here
only happy when they see me fail
mad when they see me win
I won't let them control me
troll me
until I'm gone
I'm my own throne
I control my own destiny
through this peaceful symphony
I know what is there for me
whether I kill these demons inside of me or
continue to let them manipulate me
It's on me
I have to find a way to escape
to be my own kind
to truly become me.
