"The boss told you not to disobey him. You knew there would be consequences, but it seems as if you have a death wish. Now, Rebecca Alice Kent, when you chose that you didn't want to kill our enemy and his son, you endangered yourself and the ones you love."

While he was lost in his own little world I took Blake's hand and crept over to the desk and crouched. Blake took out a small knife from a pocket in his jacket, handing it to me, but took a dagger out. His father had moved and crouched beside his son.

"Please don't do this,.", Rebecca begged

"You take after your mother, she was weak, and so we killed all she loved, not including your aunt and uncle, they were once close friends. And when she did not kill Jake, my father killed your parents and Anderson, but you and your sister had escaped." Wait. I turn to my sister, but she is gazing into the man eyes, tears welling up.

"Please."

"Too late

All of a sudden, everything was going in slow motion and I was half seeing the scene in front of me. Rebecca looked at me and mouthed, "I love you". Somewhere in the distance there were four gunshots, and I lunged forward catching my sister as she fell. I felt a bullet pierce my leg and side.

I looked down at the empty eyes green eyes of the sister whom I loved as my eyes blurred from tears. The bullet hadn't been put in her head, but it had the side of the neck where she had a tattoo of all of our family's first initials. Leaning down I kissed her still warm forehead.

I tried to stand but suddenly my lips felt heavy, my leg and side starting to burn, and I started seeing spots. I prepared myself to join my sister when a figure came into view. Their lips moved but their voices were muffled.

I felt arms lift up my body and onto a somewhat softer surface and then darkness took over my senses.

15 minutes earlier...

*Blake's POV*

The people scattered around the house, all holding red cups, dancing to Jude's music with half sober minds. Cam was talking to some of the guys on the couch, probably trying, and easily, getting their numbers. Though she was pretty, I was not attracted to her.

"Hey, Blake. You enjoying LaLa Land over there."

No other than Rebecca stood there, drink in hand, a smirk playing along dark purple lips.

"Yeah, it's great. You're actually wearing pink," I reply, "Just so you know, you look better in dark colors."

"And you look better in dresses."

"Also," She took my hand and looked in my eyes. What the hell is it about her eyes? I try to turn my head, but she turned it back towards her, and she continued, "My sister is here with me, but while I'm gone, you need to keep her safe, and be there with her."

This isn't about a meeting with my father, but I won't dig into to her business, because she hasn't dug into mine.

"If you want to watch the game with my father go ahead, he's in the study," I told her. Every Time there's a game and we've finished homework, we watch with him. But tonight I have to take care of a fourteen year old girl. And possibly invite her to live with me.

"Okay, I will see you soon. Be careful, Rebecca."

She hugs me and walks to the study. What will happen tonight will most likely change all our lives.

After a few minutes, I start moving the crowded house, looking for Becca's sister, and soon a girl catches my eye. Alone by the wall, dancing as if she had all her life to. She was wearing a high waist leather skirt, red heels, a leather jacket, and a red crop top. Her waist length hair, almost platinum, was curled. Maybe I could get lucky tonight.
