When Tides Collide

Ch. 3

Hope walked up to Ethan in the morning and greeted him with a huge smile. "What are you so happy about today?" he asked. "Look," she said as she pulled him to the side where no one would see or hear them and showed him the gun. "Whoa! That is a huge deal. What do you plan to do with that?!?!?!" he asked. "I plan to threaten Amanda and that's it. Nothing else," Hope answered defensively.

"You could get expelled"

"But I won't because she wouldn't tell. That's part of the threat."

"I would watch what you do with that!"

"I will. I just think that they have to stop ruining people's lives." Hope said as if it was obvious, "Come on we have class." They both walked to their horrible math class, and as usual, the popular people were sitting in the middle of the room, the nerds in front, and Ethan and Hope in the back. And, as usual Amanda had something to say. She was saying something about how her family owns six very expensive restaurants. There was a time when Hope was the youngest and would have thought that to be cool, but, not now. Now, she knows that Amanda's a devil and she also knows how full of crap she is. Now, she just has to wait. Until what? No one has any clue. Hope might as well wait until she goes to high school.
