Lauren + Alex

The Date

Alex POV- So, Lauren is cute, really nice, AND super funny. What else can a guy ask for? After the coffee shop thing, I went home and she texted me. I replied back ASAP so she would kind of get the hint.

* 1 Day Later *

Lauren POV- Alex and I are chatting and he asked me to hang out at his place. I said yes, like my usual self would, and got dressed. It was a black sweat shirt crop top and high wasted shorts. I'm kind of excited... so anyway I head over and knock.

Alex POV- (someone knocks at door) I opened the door. It was Lauren. She looked super cute. Like I stared for 5 seconds and she asked if I was okay. I said yeah and we continued with our day. We went to Starbucks and got some coffee and chatted there.

Lauren- So...

Alex- So...

Alex- Do you wan't to go some place for dinner?

Lauren- :: Blushes Faintly :: Sure! Why not?

Alex- Cool! Where to?

Lauren- Maybe someplace fancy.

Alex- I have the perfect idea!

Alex POV- I know exactly where to go on this date that she doesn't know it's a date date. It is a fancy restaurant with really pretty decorations and stuff. It has a huge wall with clocks set with the time of different places! I thought she would be interested and possibly post a picture with me on Instagram as that in the background. I'm not going to ask her to date tonight unless we actually bond hard. Maybe in a week when we have had time to get to know each other I will. We leave Starbucks very happy and I drive her home to get ready and I will pick her up when she is done. I put on my favorite shirt and pants and put cologne on. It was my best cologne and i'm happy I got the chance to use it.

Lauren POV- So we are going to dinner and I really hope he asks me out. He is so nice and i'm already interested in him. I just stare into his eyes and imagine what would happen if we were dating. Anyway, I looked through my whole closet for a pretty dress and I found one! It is a maroon laced dress with lace slits down the side. It is really pretty and is my favorite dress. My room is a mess, but I step over all the clothes on the floor and go to my bathroom to put my makeup on. Of course, I go all out and put a ton on. I mean, not that much, but it was enough to make my face not look like I just woke up.

* 2 hours later *

Alex POV- So, I texted Lauren to see if she was ready and she was going to be in 15 minutes. I was dressed in 10 minutes. It has been 2 hours. I mean, c'mon?! How does a girl take this long to get ready for 1 dinner. I drove over considering that it would take about 15 minutes to get there. Which means I would be there RIGHT when she was done. I knock on her door and it took her about 30 seconds. It was fine. I guess she was in her room or something. She answers putting an earring on.

Alex- Hey!

Lauren- Hey come on in! I just have to find my other earring.

Alex- :: Laughs ::

Lauren- :: Looking for earring :: Hey, do you know where we are going or is it a lovely surprise?

Alex POV- I just noticed what she was wearing and looked closer. My mouth dropped. I stuttered.

Alex- W-w-we are g-going to, uh, a surprise. Yeah.

Lauren- Cool, I guess. :: Laughs ::

Alex- :: Laughs ::

Lauren POV- Was he stuttering? OMG! Does that mean he is nervous around me? Awww that's so cute! I found my earring and we left. It was so nice because I got to relax without getting in a fight with my stupid ex. I shouldn't think about him. It is my time. Anyway we ate and talked. The restaurant was really cool. There were clocks on the wall and I asked him to take a picture with me to let people know we were talking. We had the waiter take it and he was really good at it. I don't know why but he just was. We talked after and really got to know each other.

Alex POV- I think I've gotten to know her pretty well. I am going to ask her when we are outside of her house. We drove home and she looked sort of sad. I asked and she said nothing.

Alex- So after this I wanted to ask you something.

Lauren- What is it?

Alex- I've just been thinking, I got to know you a lot at the restaurant...

Lauren POV- Is he about to...

Alex POV- I'm about to...

Alex- ... so, do you possibly want to go out with me?

Lauren POV- OMG! In my mind i'm confused but my mouth just spit out yes randomly. I was kind of embarrassed because I wasn't controlling my mouth at the time. I told him that and I told him I would of anyway. We were getting to the point where he was starting to leave and we walked to the door together. I looked deep into my eyes and he grabbed my neck. I knew what was going on so I did what any girl would do. We both leaned in and we kiss. It was a kiss. Wait, no. It was a KISS. It was one of the most passionate kisses I have ever felt. It was just his lips on my felt like I was dreaming the best dream in the world. We talked after and started to hang out more. It was to the point that we were couple goals. We started to talk about it on youtube and people were happy.
