I was walking home from school  on a rainy day it was moody out i could feel the wet air hit my lungs as i heard the little raindrops on my umbrella and in the puddels around me. My backpack was soaked because two guys from my school thought it would be fun to trow it around in the water puddles when I was on my way home. While thinking of the different ways I would tell my foster home parents how my backpack got soaked I noticed something out the corner of my eye, I saw some brown green eyes staring at me from under a bush. I walked a little closer and saw that it was a little can maybe a kitten because it was not that big. I slowly approached it and grabbed it with my hand surprisingly it wasn't scared of me in any way not even a little hiss or something but no nothing "maybe it's already tame" I thought to myself. I held it up to my chest a wrapped it in my green and comfy scarf, the little kitten was soaked and wet from the rain but a thought came to mind when I stood there under my umbrella with this little kitten in my scarf " I can't take it back with me I to my foster home, dammit!" My foster dad is allergic but I didn't want to leave the little guy out in the rain, I had to think of something, but when I stood up and started walking towards my home the little kitten go scared and jumped out of my scarf and down on the ground and ran in the direction of the bush. I panicked and started following the little guy. I tried to calm it down while running after it but it just kept running we were past the bush at this point but it kept going, soon we were out of the little town that I lived in and ran towards the big Forrest at the outskirts of the town but we kept running at this point I was getting kinda of tired and I could tell the kitten was slowing down. Suddenly it disappeared out of thin air and now I stood alone in the middle of a huge forest all by myself. I couldn't remember witch way was the way back so I sat down in the leaves and started to cry I checked my phone no connection my phone was useless, but I decided if I just kept walking I would get out of the forest at some point. So I stood up and started walking in a random direction to try and find my way out of this murky forest.
I noticed that it started getting dark I mean more than it can get in a forest, I started to panic the sun was setting and I still couldn't see the end of the forest. I started to run I was tired enough as it was so running was probably not the best plan but I was panicking I needed to get out. *THUMP!* I feel to the ground and my head was pounding I've been hit in the head with something I slowly sat up from being knocked to the ground and saw that a giant egg had fallen and landed straight on my head it was light blue with som more darker blue spots and it smelled like peppermint. *I have never seen an egg this big* I thought. I took one of my nerdy mythology books out of my still soaked backpack and searched for the page about mythological eggs and saw a bunch of different egg my eyes searched the words carefully "leviathan eggs" no to big "mermaid eggs" no to small "dragon eggs" it has the right size my eye kept reading even though I probably read about dragon eggs a hundred times I still read it slowly " dragon eggs have the specific feature that it has the color of the dragon that's going to hatch and it will always have spots. I had found a dragon egg...!
