~Ash POV~

Watching Mia go through that is the worst feeling ever. I want to make her feel better but she immediately locked herself in her room once we got home and haven't been out since.

Knocking on her door, I ask if I could come in. Getting no reply, I walk into her room to find her curled up in a ball, sleep, with her oxygen tank.

I pull her covers up on her and put her phone on her nightstand after plugging it up.

I really hope she's ok, but I know she's not.

~Mia POV~

I wake up to my phone ringing. Who in the world would be calling me at-

Wait!

It's 3 in the afternoon?!

Picking up my phone, I answered.

"Hello?"

"Uh hey." Jason reply's

"Hey, you need something?" I yawn.

"Oh, u-uh yeah."

"Well?"

"Want to go to the movies today with me? Wait, no! I meant with us!?" He asks me nervously.

"I don't know." I sigh. "I don't really feel like getting out. I've been really tired."

"Oh well then-"

"But you're always welcomed to come over and we'll watch some movies," I say cutting him off.

"Yeah, that'll be great!" He chuckles excited.

"Okay. Get some popcorn when you're on the way."

"Will do! Bye."

I hang up and get out of bed. The cool wooden floor under my feet wakes me up a bit more. Grabbing some clothes, I get in the shower. I wash my hair and then the rest of my body. I unintentionally pull a few strands out but don't think to much about it. Getting out I get dressed in a black sweater with some peach shorts.

Walking downstairs, I flop onto the couch, smashing my head into the pillow. I lay there for a while until my mother walks into the room.

"Honey, have you ate today?" She asks me, scanning over the mail.

"Nope," I say popping the p.

"You need to eat! The doctor said that if you're taking the medicine he prescribed for you, then you have to eat three times at least. And do not forget about the snacks you should have between them. You can eat the healthy kale I-" She goes on and on and on until the doorbell rings.

"I'll get it," I mumble annoyed. I open the door to see Jason leaning against the wall texting and Mason smiling at me. Mumbling a small come in, I go upstairs to my room with them following behind.

"What's wrong?" Jason asks marching into my bedroom dropping ice cream and a spoon down on my bed.

"Nothing. Like I said I'm just really tired." I sigh.

"No for real what's up?"

"Seriously nothing." I groan annoyed. "I didn't invite you over so you could be my psychiatrist, I invited you over to watch a movie. So let's watch that movie, ok?"

"Ok." He whispers loud enough for me to hear it and I instantly feel bad.

"Look I'm sorry, I'm going to go pop that beautiful buttery corn. You pick the movie." I pick up my laptop, type in my password, and hand it to Jason. Smiling at me, he grabs it and gets on Netflix. Him and Mason lay on my bed and I sigh.
