"It all happens... again."
"Cause of death?"
"Shot in the back."
"Nine?"
"Suffered chronic headaches after Twelve's death."
"Huh, given up on life, I presume."
The girl sighs, tossing the clipboard that held all the important documents and notes she and her partner had gathered aside, placing a hand on her forehead as she felt a bit light headed. Her partner giggles, picking the clipboard back up.
"We've spent years tracking them ever since they've escaped, don't throw our hard work aside as if it were all for nothing," The girl says, placing the clipboard on the table in front of the other. "V.O.N, remember? Hope, Twenty-Seven."
"There's no point in hope when another two have lost their lives before getting back at those who did this to us," The girl, Twenty-Seven, says, scratching the bridge of her nose.
"Oh, Twenty-Seven! Whilst researching, before the electrical blowout that is, I've gathered information on the accomplice, Mishima Lisa. It says that she is currently attending Tokyo Metropolitan Kokusai High School after the incident with Nine and Twelve," Twenty-Seven's partner says, flipping through a series of notebooks and packets.
"Lisa, Sphinx Number Three, correct?" Twenty-Seven confirms, taking a pen out of a nearby drawer and clicks it open. She takes the pen to her lips, before writing down the information being given to her. "She isn't from the settlement, is she, Twenty-Eight?"
Twenty-Eight shakes her head, closing the notebook she had, shut. "What will we do now? Now that Nine and Twelve are, you know, Tokyo as a whole must think everything has ended, right?"
Twenty-Seven nods, waving her pen at Twenty-Eight. "I'm sure of it," she says, standing up as she lowers her blindfolds, making sure they completely covered her eyes from the harsh light the only lightbulb in the room, emitted. "Do we have the shock prototypes still lying around?"
