Mia's P.O.V.
I can't believe this is happening.
In front of me is my husband, shielding me with his body.
In front of my husband, Kyle, is the thing he is shielding me from.
It is a man holding a gun pointed at Kyle.
"Kyle, whats going on?"
Kyle didn't answer.
The man holding the gun spoke.
"I'll tell you whats going on, Kyle here owes me money, and either he pays or he dies. His choice."
Kyle look scared now.
"Please just give me another week---."
"I gave you time, now do you have the money or not?"
"No." Kyle answered.
The man holding the gun pointed it at Kyle's chest.
"Goodbye Kyle." he said.
He pulled the trigger.
I screamed and jumped in front of Kyle.
My last thoughts were, I love you Kyle, and then the pain and darkness submerged me.
I did not resurface.
