Chapter 2
Mia P.O.V.
Where am I?
I looked around and saw a figure walking towards me.
"Where am I?" i asked again.
"You are in the inbetween." the figure answered.
"You mean, I'm dead?"
"Yes, but you are not in heaven.
You see, when somebody comes to the inbetween,
it means that they have a mission on Earth that they must fullfill."
"Oh, well whats my mission?" I asked.
"I can not tell you, you must figure that out on your own."
The figure started to walk backwards, and said, "I will see you again soon, go, find your mission."
I blinked and the figure was gone.
I looked around again, and people surrounded me.
I was on Maine Street.
I got up off of the ground, and looked around again.
My breath caught in my throat.
Kyle walked past me, holding Brisa and Christophers hands.
I called out, knowing it wouldn't work, that they wouldn't hear me.
When i called out, Christopher, looked over his shoulder at me.
I ran to catch up with them.
"Christopher, can you see me?"
Christopher nodded.
I put a finger to my lips, "Don't tell anyone okay, I'll come talk to you tonight okay?"
Christopher smiled and nodded again.
"Christopher what are you nodding at?" Kyle asked.
"Nothing daddy."
They walked away.

I spent the rest of my day watching Kyle.
He was cleaning out my stuff today.
He walked to the closet, and pulled out my favorite sweatshirt.
He pulled it over his head, and collapsed in a heap on the floor.
I wanted so bad to be alive at this moment.
To comfort him, to wipe his tears away.
Instead helplessly, i watched until i felt tears streaming down my face.
That was when i turned away.
