I kissed my mother good bye as I climbed out of the car. All eyes were on my back as I lugged my suitcase and box of belongings up to the office. The office lady smiled at me. I mumbled my greetings and she gave me my dorm room number and key. "Sorry hon, your room mate is a little bit of a party animal, you will hardly notice her," She said reassuringly. At least I hope she was reassuring me. I wondered around nonchalantly, Hoping I would eventually find my dorm room. I stared at every person who walked past me. I sniffed at the air.
A strange scent lingered. I ignored it then and idea struck me. The key should have a faint smell of the room. I sniffed the key and happily hopped along the path, towards the dorms that this key belongs to. People stared at me and I mentally shrugged, who cares, not me. I hummed to a song that my Mum once sang to me. I found my room and opened the door. I dropped my box of belongings. I stared in disbelief, Body's' littered the floor, I stepped back shocked. Hesitantly I walked inside. I Silently stalked through the room. I found a girl in the bathroom. I slinked through the door and stood behind her.
"Are you the girl who resides in this dorm," I asked politely. She spun on her heel screaming. I fell back trying not to look too shocked. "What is it to you bitch, and don't walk around here scaring me like that," She Screamed. I shivered no one had ever talked like that to me. " Why you," I growled, She Jumped at the intensity in my voice. I calmed myself and started over. "I am new here and am supposed to stay in this dorm, If you are my room mate, then please remove the people littering the floor. Or I will," I smiled. She stood stunned, "Hi room mate," She stuttered and motioned for me to kick these poor sons of bitches out.
A huge smirk formed on my face, and I giggled. I walked out and yelled. "Get your asses up and out!! NOW!" I demanded some people woke startled others stirred then fell back to sleep. I picked one of the young men up and looked into his eyes they were red and he looked terrified. "Wake your' friends up and leave, Sleep for goodness sake!" I yelled at him. He complied waking up every one and leaving.
I folded my last shirt into the draws and walked out. My room mate had finally finished cleaning the room and I admired her work. "Good Job," I muttered. She smiled and thanked me. Then left the room, saying she will be back after tomorrows classes. I nodded and turned to my bed. I face planted and thought about looking for an empty field or forest. I warily stood and walked towards the door, I continue on heading in the general direction of which I came. After I had gotton far enough for no one to see I stripped and shifted, hiding my clothes in a nearby tree. I began to run enjoying the freedom that was returned to me once more. I contained a howl, afraid of being rude or getting shot. I heard a loud 'Boom!!' resounding through the woods.
I jumped and ran towards the smell of blood. In a small clearing lay a young female wolf, A hunter. I sneaked forward, wary of others. I sniffed her head. I could hear her heart beat. I lifted my head and howled. as loud as I could. I didn't know the first thing about first aid. I was taught to find a doctor and let them work their magic. I nudged her shoulder begging her to let me carry her. She sighed, I took it as a yes and lifted her up. I slowly limped towards the school again. A large male wolf appeared in front of me, a smaller wolf standing beside him. It was the wolf I had met only a few days ago. I bowed my head to show I was sorry.
He shook showing he had acknowledged my peace. The larger male stepped forward, sniffing at me and the female. I let out a low growl not wanting him to hurt her. The other male stepped towards me motioning for me to place her down. I complied, letting her sink to the ground slowly. He came up and sniffed at the bullet wound. He slowly licked the wound it healed leaving only a scar. I thought of my cheek. When I was out before Mum and I had been fighting she had hit me, so I had a cut on my face. So thats why he licked me, I smiled to myself. Good.
He finished and came up to me. Sniffing me over, this time I playfully ran away like mother had taught me. He followed suit and soon we were playing tag. He made the bigger wolf join in and we played for what felt like forever. I let out an excited howl, this was more fun than hunting alone, or playing alone. This was FUN! The big wolf suddenly left the clearing running back the way they had came.
After a few minutes he returned laden with clothes. He had shifted and I looked up at him. He looked nice, Green eyes and a happy smile, he was muscly. Too much for me. But he was nice and looked kind but strong. Like an alpha. I shook the thought off and turned to the doc. He had clothes in his mouth and motioned for me to follow him. I trotted along a smile planted on my face. He broke into a run and I quickly matched pace. He was fit, but I definitely had more stamina made for battle, not to take care of the wounded. He slowly came to a trot fustrated that he couldn't continue. I nudged him requesting a set of clothing.
I ran off and shifted, coming back to find him dressed. He was, adorable His dark blue eyes complimenting his pale complexion. he wore baggy jeans that made him look small. His blonde hair was short and formed around his face. I loved it he was too cute. He studied me. Then bowed, "Nice to meet you my lady" he said sweetly, I blushed only the adults treated me like royalty, though I probably was. "M-My name is spirit..." I muttered embarrassed by my name. He nodded. "mines Silver, dad named me for who I am not what I look like, For once," he muttered.
I smiled and hugged him. He stood shocked. "Thank you, today was the most fun I have ever had," I muttered into his hair. He was half a head taller than me so I had to stand on my tippy toes. I nodded silently, and pulled back, he traced a line down my face. "Your an Alpha's Daughter aren't you?" He said. I nodded. I had no idea what to do, I lowered myself to the ground and rolled into a ball, Crying unable to control myself.
The sun set only just visible through the trees. Silver held me, his warmth bringing me comfort. "Thank you for saving my little sister, she had run after her boyfriend had gotten angry with me," He whispered. "it's ok, thank you for coming when you did," I replied. I merely nodded and he held me tighter. My structure was small but well built, I wasn't short but I wasn't a giant. I fit perfectly in his arms. He helped me rise and led me back to my room.
I bowed my head and wished him good night, He did the same and left, wishing me luck for tomorrow. I laughed and walked to my bed. Slipping out of my clothes and sleeping.
