I remained silent not knowing how to answer him.

We are in the operation theatre performing surgery of cholecystectomy.
The patient also has an ovarian cyst so the gynaecologists will perform surgery on her after us.
After finishing the surgery, we called Gynic department and two gynaecologists entered the theatre.
One of them is the main surgeon, Dr.Chawla.
When I saw the other one I immediately recognised her as the girl who has rejected me on my face.
She is so focused in the surgery that she didn't even notice me.
However I kept looking at her.
It felt like an hour has passed but in reality it was only a few minutes.
Suddenly as if sensing my gaze, she turned to my direction and looked straight into my eyes.
Our eyes locked for a while and a bit of recognition crossed her eyes which was later replaced by confusion as if she is trying to figure out who I am.
Our eyelock suddenly got interrupted by her senior asking for help.
Then she involved herself in the surgery.
I went out of the O.T. room to remove my mask with our surgery team.
We kept chatting for a while and gynic surgeons entered the area.
She removed her mask and was speaking to someone.
I was about to remove my mask but I saw from the corner of my eyes that she is looking at me.
Well, what's the fun in revealing straight away who I am.
Let her wait for some time.
I moved my head to other direction and removed the mask.

I was speaking to my colleague and I can feel her gaze on my back.
Well she really is curious.

Her face was comical.
Her eyes were wide with shock.
Her eye brows almost touching hairline and her jaw almost hitting the floor.
I smirked at her and it seemed to pull her out of shock.
She recovered quickly and stood there with a blank face.
