I was happy to have my partner in crime back after so many dark months of being without his beautiful smile and his crazy humour , Rehab was the worst year of my life but he made such a huge difference in such a small time...
*flashback*
White dirty wall's, brown carpet floors, an old wooded door and silences. I was sitting on a single bed with only one thick pink blanket and two thin white pillows, studying my "new room". There's not alot to study in the room, there's almost nothing in here.
I've been in this place for four days but it feels like two weeks. I have no idea what time it was, I didn't even know if it was night or day. The Windows in this room are so small and dirty that you couldn't see the outside world.
"Morning Miss Phillips, how are you?"
"I'm fine and for the hundredth time don't call me Miss Phillips" I said crossing my arms against my chest, not making any eye contact at the nurse.
"Well it's good that you're doing fine Amanda, now come on it's lunch." She replied with a sweet smile.
A sweet smile can only fool me once...
"I don't feel like eating, thank you"
"You have to eat to become big and strong Amanda, come on your chicken mayo sandwich is waiting for you" she said full of joy.
I swear these people that work here are retarded, come on do I look like an six year old or something? I might as well just walk to go eat that awful chicken mayo sandwich because I knew I wouldn't win this battle.
"Yaay" I said rolling my eyes as I got up from the bed, fixing my green dress that they made me wear and started walking out the door with the nurse holding my arm.
As I got to the area where we ate awful food she let my arm go and I walked to an empty table. I never liked the people here, not being mean or anything but the people here just looked creepy...But anyways there's no one here that's my age.
"Here's your chicken mayo... Oh and we have new friend coming in today that's just one year older than you, you could maybe make a new friend" the same nurse said coming with two plates of sandwiches.
Great now I'm going to sit with some creepy person who is going to judge me and my scars... Get me out of here!!!
"Oh there he is right now"
I look up from my food to see a guy with green sweatpants and a white T-shirt. He had tattoos up and down his right arm with messy black hair.
"I'll leave you two to get to know each other" the nurse said walking away.
He doesn't look creepy crazy like the people here? He look's normal like everyone else out by the normal world. He didn't have dark bags under he's eyes or oily hair like people here?
What are you thinking Amanda no one is normal in here, its rehab Hello! Everyone that falls into rehab are abnormal... even you.
"Hey... My name is Daniel Roberts and you are?" He said as he took his tatooed arm out for me to shake.
Woow I never knew you could get green eyes like his, it reminded me of wet summer grass
"Oh umm... I'm Amanda Phillips" I said with an awkward smile while shaking his hand.
He took away he's arm and just stared at me, studying me like I was a book but not with judgement just like he was memorising the way I looked Not uncomfortable at all Haha...
"You're not mental like the poeple here.... What's your story Amanda Phillips?" He asked taking a bite out of he's chicken mayo.
I could feel the anxiety creeping around my body making me to terrified to talk.
