Three a.m. Except, Rowena didn't know that. She'd been lost and gone from her family for about a day, not knowing where she was, and with no communication. Her eyes fluttered open, and she sat up. It was the abandoned house that she only went to because she was out in the woods on her own and it began to pour. She remembered that she was there.
She stood up and skidded down the hallway, and looked out the peephole in the door.
"It's so dark," she thought. But that didn't stop her from taking a step outside. A blast of wind hit her face, and her hair flew behind her. That was a bad idea. She ran back inside. Too cold.It was going to be a long day for her, and she knew that.
