Astro is a South Korean six-member boy group formed in 2015. The group introduced by Fantagio consists of six charismatic and talented singers and dancers.
The members were revealed on social media during August 2015, along with all the information about them; they released their debut mini-album “Spring up” in February 2016, and their 2nd mini-album “Summer Vibes” in July 2016.
The members of Astro are:
Jinjin, MJ, Eunwoo, Moonbin, Sanha and Rocky.
The concept of Astro was the 2nd project of Fantagio of the same type; before Astro, the label formed 5urprise, a group of five boys who would be actors, singers and dancers, at the same time and with equal effort in all fields.
Members of Astro were trained in Fantagio’s iTeen rookie program for about seven years, and were finally presented to the public through a web drama “To be continued”, which aired during August 2015; they starred in it alongside their labelmates 5urprise, mostly alongside Seo Kang Joon.
All of the members are equally handsome and attractive and each has his own unpredictable charm, which makes ASTOR even more appealing to the audience.
Their debut, therefore, was the most anticipated one of the year.
