Discord sat in her apartment staring at where her coffee table had once been, it wasn't a concern, just a point of focus. After the fight she diagnosed herself, numerous scrapes and cuts, all superficial, but chronic fatigue was the true issue, So she slept and she waited, she slept for days in fact. Calls started coming in from her hospital, but she ignored them, she could already guess what it was about. Primo and Dori made a point to stop by several times, they were a big help, bright, cheerful, caring. Discord was even quite certain that they had paid her rent for that month, seeing as how she hadn't been thrown out yet. They'd told her about the ceremony Zeus had held to resurrect Hessperiidae, apparently it had been a quite beautiful ritual. Hess didn't seem to care, she threw him out and then got back to her gardening.

And now, she had been waiting, three weeks, her final request from Primo and Dori. Hope flitted around her head, curiously examining her apartment while Discord sat with her hands tented, a jug of wine sitting between her feet.

"This place it a bit plain," Hope commented.

"You think?" Discord wondered, "I don't know, I was never much for decorating.

"Well I'm just saying," Hope said as she zipped through the kitchen, "A picture or a painting, maybe some plants..."

"Not the nurturing type."

"Sure you are," she giggled, "You just don't know it."

Discord looked away, her thoughts briefly drawn to a tragic past.

"I'm sorry did I say something wrong?" Hope wondered.

"Nah, no," she double checked the clock, "Look it's about that time," she picked up her wine jug, "Can we go?"

Hope swirled around her, her fire embracing Discord and gently caressing her skin. When it cleared, the both of them had been transported to the old dilapidated house.

"Ugh," Hope quickly flitted from the living room and back again, "Remember what I said about you being a horrible decorator?"

"Vaguely," Discord leered back.

"Well I take it back," she let out a disgusted groan, "This is horrible."

"Yeah, that's what makes it a good hiding spot."

"But at what cost?"

Chuckling slightly, Discord wandered into the rest of the house and almost immediately furrowed her brow.

"Would you say we've been making a lot of noise?" she wondered, setting the jug aside on the nearest coffee table.

"I'd say the interior decorator was either blind or on a drug trip," Hope responded with disgust.

"Right," Discord was honestly hurt by that comment, "But if somebody lived here, and were in the basement say, they'd know we were here by now right?"

"I suppose," Hope agreed, "These walls seem kinda thin."

"Ekland! EKLAND!" she waited, "Oruzu? ...fuck..."

Discord left the hall and went to the cellar door.

"Wait here," she advised.

"Yeah, that's gonna happen," Hope scoffed.

Grimacing, she opened the door and slowly walked down the steps and into the shadows. She didn't have to wait in darkness long, about halfway down the staircase a dozen torches lit along the walls illuminating a very free and happy Jiunichi who was leaning back against the altar.

"Right one time!" he gleefully announced.

"What did you do with them?" she demanded coldly.

"Oh come on, that not really the question you want to ask is it?"
