Standing amidst the lush and beautiful rows of plants and ferns, Discord clawed at her own face while groaning. Meanwhile, Baldur looked at her, his expression a combination of surprise and shock
"What are you..." he shook his head, giving a beaming smile, "No, it doesn't matter, how did you get here, how did you find me?"
"I don't know," she rolled her eyes as he wrapped her in a warm hug, "Stabbed a bunch of times then I fell backwards."
"No, no, you're not dead are you?"
"Anybody ever tell you that you might be a little too sincere?" she placed her fingers over his lips to silence him, "No husband, I'm not dead, just having the worst... DAY of my life."
"Do...do you want to talk about it?" he wondered.
"Particularly..." she sighed, letting her hand fall away, "Well it starts with your mother stabbing me to death..."
"So...you are dead?"
"I prefer to think of it as inconvenienced," Discord paced the room to find the exit, "Just need to figure a way out of here."
"Why is my son's head bracing the door open?"
"He made an overture that I had to bring to a crescendo," she said off hand.
"Why are you here?" he demanded.
"Stuck looking for a way out," she reached for the exit and opened it upon a parlor decorated in lavish gold highlights.
"Why did my mother stab you?"
Discord paused, drumming her fingers against the door before slamming it shut again.
"Frigga has allied with Loki and I think she's trying to kill your father," Discord spat out the information harshly as possible and waited for him to react.
"So...you're here to stop it?" he wondered.
"Well I'm a bit sidetracked right now, but yeah, that's the ultimate plan," she turned away, a little disturbed, "Aren't you a little too calm about this?"
"At times it must slip your mind that I am quite a bit older than you," Baldur said with a shrug, "And far better acquainted with my own family, mother may carry herself as a warrior but she holds a softer edge, and she's always been close with Loki, it's only too easy to imagine him pouring venom in her ear, swinging her will his way."
"You do realize that Loki killed you right?" Discord raised an eyebrow.
"WHAT?" Baldur shouted, "Then why the bloody fuck would she ever ally with Loki?!"
Discord couldn't help herself, she clasped a hand over her mouth to stifle a snicker.
"Don't laugh, it's not funny," he insisted, "What the Hell happened to my family?"
"Time, I guess would be the most obvious answer," Discord shrugged, "I haven't exactly been a regular visit for them in the last few eons."
"Alright, then one last question..." he pointed to her stomach, "Why are you glowing?"
"What?" she looked down to see a golden light shining through the holes Margo had stabbed into her dress, "Oh, that, you gave me some kinda glowing orb before you died."
"No I didn't," Baldur scoffed.
"No, I mean, you did just a few minutes ago."
"I did?"
"Yes," she nodded.
"When I died?"
"Yes," she said more reluctantly this time.
