The orphanage of hell

She tried to punch me I grabbed her fist and I twisted it I kicked her leg and she fell I still held on to her fist I put my foot on her back "punch me again and you experience hell" I threatened, I let go of her and lifted my foot off of her she got up. She looked at me "y-you m-m-monster!" She ran away frightened I stared at her running to her friends "ignore the bitch Kat" my shadow whispered in my mind. " I told you not to use that language with me" I whispered back, I heard silence I walked to where I was supposed to sleep I sat on the edge of my bed. one of the woman that picked me up went up to me "dinner is starting soon plus...we heard from Skyla that you attacked her." I was confused from what I heard from the lady "Miss she tried to punch me, my instincts was to react" the lady responded quickly "okay by the way what's your name" I responded "Kat." She walked away back downstairs, I wondered what that was about. I got up from my bed to the kitchen all the five girls were there sitting at the table waiting for their food to be done. I sit by this little girl thats about like 7 she looks at me and smiled 'Hello Kat how are you doing?" she asked, "I'm doing great and you?" She responded "I'm also great, by the way you are brave to stand up to Skyla like that". then she turned around and sat in silence "GIRLS! dinner is ready!" We waited for our plates to be done. while they came with our food I saw it was turkey with mashed potatoes and for our drinks it's warm milk. They gave every girl their plates when I got mine, I stuffed the buttery mashed potatoes in my mouth and took a sip of my creamy warm milk it really was satisfying after everyone was finished we were all put to bed, I lay there staring up into the dark. I want a peaceful sleep tonight it's all I ask maybe until I get adopted "fine, fine Kat you can get your good nights sleep until you get adopted" "really?!" I responded back to my shadow " I'm just saving your ass from suspicion" I smiled and drifted off finally into a deep peaceful sleep.
