Well let's see... There are many things I have no idea how to deal with like: Loss, Betrayal, Being ignored, loneliness and etc. but one thing I was totally unexpected and that caught me off guard was when a guy confessed to me...

Yes I know confessions happen all the time, love is in the air pollutingtheearth- I-I mean... I really do respect the people who have the guts to confess, they are warriors. They are brave and courageous people, I truly respect them.
I am one of those plain girls who have no striking features. I am basically a background character in an anime, you see them but would not remember them.

It was around 6th grade when this happened. I was chosen to be one of the narrators for the Christmas Play thingy our school does once a year and so was my best friend... ummmm let's call her Ginny.

We were both excited and happy, because only a small amount of students were chosen, and one of them was a guy I'll now call Ross, I knew Ross before the play thingy because we go to the same guitar classes. He was generally a good, funny and goofy guy. He was also a year younger than me. And other was my crush at that time let's call him uhhh Matt.
When it was around 5 days before the play, and Matt goes up to me like "Someone in this hall likes you". My heart was beating so frikin fast because of me thinking it was him and "I wonder who~" i said in the calmest voice I can do at that time as i fidget with my cat keychain.

Just as he was about to say the name, Ginny walked up to me and said "Heyy Ryn. watcha doin' 😏" (she knew I liked him) i sigh and knew that since she was here Matt was never gonna tell me, so I smiled and said "Nothing." then walked off, just as I was about to leave, Matt yells out "Ross likes you!!!" It was so loud I swear everyone heard it, even Ross himself.
I stood there in my place still, not knowing how to respond to that. Because i am just a background character, an un-noticeable person. How am I supposed to know how to deal with confessions?!?
After a while, I still stood there like a statue, Matt, who is dragging Ross along with him walked up to me and they said hi, I responded back by laughing like a mad person, "You're joking right?" I chuckled. Matt laughed it off and walked away.
Roos took a deep breath and exclaimed "(first name) I Like you!"
DAMN. why the hell are boys so loud?!?
I responded by just. Running away. Yes, I just ran away like some headless chicken.
The next day, he texted me that he likes me and he kept doing it for nearly four months. But nor everyday otherwise that would've become creepy and a joke.
A year later he sends me:

Now i kinda feel bad for making him wait for a year and more, only to disappoint him by saying no... 3 TIMES!! Ross, I am so so sorry for making you wait for so long, though you may or may not have wattpad, I am truly sorry.
