Chapter 20: the last one

4 months later
Jihyo POV

"When are you going to tell Namjoon the truth?" Jaebum set beside me on the bench.

"Probably never, I do remember some of the things we did together plus I'm glad everything is going back to normal."

"I'm jealous," he looked at me with a sad smiled. "I hope one day you will forgive me. I'm sorry about everything."

We stayed in silence for a few minutes. I get up and take a step back.

"Jaebum there's a saying 'I forgive you but never forget' Jaebum I forgave you a long time ago but I will never forget," I looked at him.

"Jihyo."

"Don't let Yuju suffer like me. Make her happy and if you start to waver don't do the same mistake you did with me. I have to go now."

"Thanks."

Few hours later

I laid down on my bed waiting for Namjoon to get out of the shower. He comes out with only the towel wrap around his waist. I blushed and looked away. I don't know what to do but stare at the white wall.

"Jihyo I love you."

My heart beats abnormal, I cheeks are burning, I bit my lower lip.

"I love you too."

"Jihyo I know about your condition...so it's okay. I'm kind of sad but I'm happy you didn't push me away."

"I'm sorry."

"Don't be," he smiled and gently kissed my lips.

I never thought I would love him.

Namjoon POV

At first I thought Jihyo will never love me. I thought I was the second main guy that doesn't get the girl. Even if it was an arranged marriage I was happy.

"Jihyo I want a family," I look into her beautiful shining eyes.

"Should we give it a try?" She smiled beautifully.

Chaeyoung POV

"I'm sorry J.Seph but I can't accept your feelings. I already like someone else."

"I know. Chaeyoung don't push Jin away. He really likes you." I watched him as he left me alone in the rooftop.

I think I always had a thing for Jin but I didn't wanted to admit it. At the beginning I thought he was player but I got to him. He's jokes are not the best but they do make me laugh.

"J.Seph is right. Don't push me away Chaeyoung."

I turned around and saw Jin standing handsomely. He had a smirk and started to walk toward me.

I'm lost for words. Did he hear the part of me liking him?! I want to run away. I can't make eye contact with him.

"Chaeyoung," he said with a serious voice and walk toward me.

My heart starts to skip a beat.

"Chaeyoung," he said again but with guilt. "I'm sorry I couldn't protect you," he embrace me with his warm arms.
